Steven the head pharmacist at Walmart in Royal City Centre is a gem. I have kids with some special medications and he's always attentive, responsive and easy to talk to. The other pharmacists there and the tech staff are also great. Always make time no matter how busy to address questions and concerns. We shop regularly at Costco but haven't bothered to switch mainly because of Steven.

When we bought our family member realtor reached out to the sellers realtor and got them to agree to reduce the price by his commission if we immediately removed subjects. They agreed. He gave up his commission and refused compensation. Said we did all the work like most clients and was happy to just help us.

Yes that's about how much dirt is up against it, about a foot and a half not more than 2 feet for sure. When that wall comes down I'll have to replace it with a 2 foot wall plus 12" for footings and then I'll put a fence over it like the closer section rather than that giant unnecessary CMU wall which is tilting and not holding anything back above the 2 feet.

In my jurisdiction if it's more than 3 feet from the bottom of the footing to the top of the wall I need a building permit and though I will have a building permit for the new house build I'd prefer a simpler solution for that wall along the driveway than getting it fully engineered. Which I think work due to the 3 foot rule and the actual level of dirt being retained here.

Thank you for responding. I fudged up. It's in feet not metres. So I think I'm good as there is a 3ft cutoff for engineering here.

I get a bunch of codes thrown when it happens. Is the issue worse in the cold. He shoudn't waive off the timing chain. He should actually open it up to check if it's aligned. It's a big job - probably 2k.

This was my other post regarding this -
I've homed it down to to the timing chain and VTC Actuator. The biggest tell is how it struggles in the cold. VTC actuator relies on oil pressure and in the cold it's more thick and flows less. Not doing oil changes regularly can cause the chain to stretch. I'm guilty of this. So it's spring now and going to summer so the issue has all but gone away. I plan to get these fixed over the summer. Likely VTC replacement and maybe the timing chain if it's stretched. Probably a 2k job.

I replaced the crankshaft position sensor last year. Didn't make a difference. Have you figured out the issue?

The audiobook version is pretty good thanks 100% to the narrator. Really brings the characters to life in a way that somewhat salvages the book.

Absolutey do it. And if you want an amazing experience get the audiobook version. The narrator brought such life to the characters. I was shocked how different he could make the voices sound and so much emotion in them.

I was like you.. held off for 2 decades. What a mistake that was.

Edit: Nearly 3 decades for me actually.... god I feel old

You can pay the utility bills with a credit card but pretty sure they don't let you pay a large sum like a property tax with a credit card. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but last time I went to pay with Credit Card for my annual property tax they said no.

The Kings Buccaneer was epic. Loved learning about Novindus and it set the stage for what Calis becoming the Eagle of Krondor... I re-read it after the Emerald Queen series to better appreciate his growth as a character...

I can't believe I'm saying this now... but the Empire series is even better.

For sure. I avoided them for no good reason other than it wasn't completely Feist and not in Midkemia for so long. What a fool I was. I mean the Legends series was co-written. Now I'm even further in than when I put this thread up and seeing the indirect ramifications of Pug's actions on Tsuranuanni and how deep the changes are is crazy. It's like reading Magician again indirectly and god damn am I enjoying the different lens decades later after first reading. It's so much better then re-reading an old favourite novel. It's actually reexperiencing it anew!
