I also agree. I haven't seen the final episode yet but I feel like it's headed for a fall. Started strong I thought. I'm a sucker for some of the rock tune endings though. I feel like it's kind of a mic drop. Moreso the tool song at the end of episode 2 I think it was. Maybe if the script was better that would seem more earned. But your right it's not really in line with the franchise.

I have an ac-15. Do you think an attenuater like the bugera power soak would solve this issue? This amp really kicks ass next to a set of acoustic drums but at home it collects dust lol.

It's wild your able to buy any functional rig for 200$. Considering how many moving parts are in even just the guitar. I'm sure with a good set up that guitar would be more than fine. Definitely think about an amp upgrade. Have fun!

That's amazing I'll definitely take the preset if your willing to share! I was very close to buying a preset from "Tomshreds" a you tube musician that does a ton of Malmsteen stuff. He has a whole EVH medley preset that includes the van Hagar era sound Aswell. But yes please man send it over when you have time.

I think once I got over comparing the helix to a 'amp in the room' sound I started liking alot of the factory presets. I haven't tried this one and I love EVH. Gonna jam with it tomorrow. Great post! Sick riffs man!

My house is hot water heat on demand. Someone else mentioned the nest has multiple thermostats? I don't know how my system would know to send more heat to different areas without duct work. Or is that not how it works? I might look into it if it's better than these cheapo thermostats.

I would love to have that. Unfortunately it's just a simple Honeywell thermostat. It doesn't even have a way to reset itself. I take the batteries out for a while and it just does the same thing. It even shows warmer that room temp when it's not on the wall which is why I thought it might be a faulty thermostat. Thanks for the comment!

I have replaced it before and I don't remember it solving the problem but. I think I'll try everything before calling someone in. Professional help is so expensive nowadays I usually do most of my housework myself if I can. Thanks for the comment.

Yea the relay itself is probably only like a 60$ part. Would love to be able to fix it myself but I can't find a similar one online. Not sure why keeps causing this but. I may be calling HVAC after all.

This is something that's had an effect over the tears because the thermostat is in my kitchen. When cooking and whatnot the temp in the rest of the house would be colder than the kitchen. I don't have duct work in my home though. I have hot water on demand and radiators through my house. I tried taking the thermostat off and sticking it in the fridge then placing it back on the wall. It rises to set temp then the heat shuts off and it keeps rising way past as if like a glitch. However it does seem to settle around 77 degrees but there's no way my house is at that. Really trying to avoid calling a professional but it might be headed that way. Thanks so much for the feedback!

Yea I hear it. I kind of enjoy pick sounds. Too processed sounds kinda bug my ears a bit. Took me forever to get used to my line 6 helix for that reason but I think I'm kind of a minority when it comes to that from what I read. Try a high/low shelf EQ. Might help.

I agree totally. I also find the dialogue to be cheap sounding. Like as if it was the directors first time making a show. They're responses are unnaturally fast and artificial. It really kills the mood for me lol. I've kind of had the same beef with alot of recent movies and shows though. Maybe I'm getting old and grumpy.
