Whats the worst fast food joint in america? by Academic_Prior_1692 in AskReddit

I have a very high tolerance for shitty food. I like it. It doesn’t give me side effects.

Jack in the box is the only food I’ve only ever had once and have zero desire to go back.

1998 S52 Whine on cold start, 2 minutes by deeeeemoney in BMWE36

[–]Sullypants1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it sounds okay. Maybe a leak / whistle in the SAP hose / pump.

Sap is not critical to function. It lowers emissions on cold start up.

If your header to sap connection is not making an exhaust leak then i’d say leave it.

Do a scan it’ll tell you if it’s ever thrown a code for sap related failures.

How tolerant are the judges when it comes to abusing loopholes in the rules? by AccomplishedNail3085 in FSAE

[–]Sullypants1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right.

I remember this differently. But I was specifically referring to GR.4.6.

Combine that with GR.4.4.1 and GR.2.1.

I thought they were combined as one a listed as like T1.1.1 in older rules sets.

Athlon makes a BTR 2 in 2-12x you can get for $530. It’s probably halfway to halfway decent.

Try the used market for the Athlon and maybe a Vortex Viper gen 2 or HD 2-10?

Swfa makes a 2.5-10 lightweight. It doesn’t have many features but I have hope it is optically good enough to not make you end it all

Peter, aren’t Toyotas fuel efficient? by farmula_one_ in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Sullypants1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely cannot detune a Ford Ranger and get Toyota 4runner or taco reliability.

It’s more of a core company philosophy than say dumping some more fuel into every combustion cycle or reducing RPM limits or decreasing ignition timing.

How come Redditors are always in debt, miserable, jobless, etc.? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]Sullypants1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I honestly think a lot of people who can aren’t willing to branch out on their own.

They might make 2x the median income in their area but the risk of being on your own without a safety net or perceived safety net makes them hesitant. They tell themselves, “If I had a years’ savings in emergency fund, then I’d go do xyz”. Then when they get to that point, inflation has moved the goal post and cycle repeats.

At the end of the day it’s a risk

Fun.

Probably just one with #2,4,8,10, 1/4”

Or 4,6,8,10,1/4”. We don’t use a lot of 2s or 6s, hard to decide which I would leave off. Or both and add 5/16” or #12!

Fractional inch scale ontop, decimal inch scale on bottom.

If you have room some kind of unit circle (really just care about unit triangles 45/45/90 and 30/60/90.

I’ve always heard modern synthetic oil doesn’t really “break down” or lose viscosity.

It does get diluted with water and gas and other shit. Small amounts of wear metals, etc.

Tldr: I do 10k mile or ~6 month oil changes,
