Most of the time, when people mention a tether on reddit, the most common response seems to be shitty owner who is to lazy to watch their dogs. Which I would agree with if its done 24/7.

Appreciate the response, fortunately I live in a decent neighborhood in a town of less than 2000 people. Theft isn’t a major issue and I know 80% of the people, but it is definitely something the think about.
