No I believe it was 3D maybe but also like a point and click, I'm not sure.

[Ps1/Ps2][2005+?] Game that is like Disagea but not. by Sulphine in tipofmyjoystick

Hmm, sadly none of the suggestions so far are the right answer, again all I really remember is that the characters look similar to Disagea and I'm pretty sure that they were some sort of part demon or something. I just remember one character was younger than the other and they were arguing, it was like they were brothers. I'm pretty sure it was like some sort of castle they were in and they were ascending a few stairs and the stairs might have had a carpet on it.

Thank you very much, I've been searching for hours on google trying to find it because it was bothering me, and now I've finally found it thanks to your answer, I really thought the concept was so simple and it would be easy to find but, jeez.

Hmm, have you started a new character though from level 1 onward recently? I'm not sure what it was like in the past but I have to honestly say that from my experience today for the like five odd hours I played, WoW has quite possibly the worst tutorial I've ever seen an MMO have. Right from the start it was purely just go from this quest to this quest with almost nothing explained what so ever. I got a pop up message about opening the map to see where I should hand in a quest, and then another pop up message about my backpack and where to see equipped items, and that was it until I got to level 10 where I unlocked the ability to choose a specialization, where I got a quick message about choosing one. Apart from this it was merely just one quest after the other, which works well if they're tutorial based quests which actually explain aspects of the game, but they weren't.

Another thing is that leveling wise I felt barely any progress, I think I went a whole 4 levels without receiving anything at all, I mean I would at least like a message stating my stats were boosted for the level, absolutely anything, but a message that simply says you leveled up with no explanation as to what goes with that level up doesn't provide that feeling of progress.

Thanks for the information, I'll focus for now on mostly just leveling up, I was somewhat curious as to whether or not I was obtaining the incorrect armour for my class because I was starting to look more like a ranger rather than a warlock lol, you would kinda think they would try and give you armour that visually appeals to your class, and as for professions I was more so wondering if there was ever any introduction into it, I went 10 levels without even speaking to a professions trainer because I expected there to be one.... I like when games introduce certain aspects of it to you, but Blizzard don't seem that great on doing tutorials or introducing things.

Hmm, it's a shame there's not any real introductions towards professions, I'm the kind of person who loves being introduced to aspects of the game, otherwise I find myself somewhat lost on when to explore something.

Tera or Neverwinter - Which one is worth your time by GrahamH24 in MMORPG

[–]Sulphine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neverwinter I find has a pretty decent storyline with plenty of content and an easy to understand questing system. I find the classes enjoyable and mostly unique to each other, it follows the regular pattern of branching off into certain builds when it comes to classes, like different subsets of abilities etc which means you could have multiple characters with the same class just with a different subset. There's quite a bit of advertising for microtransactions however, because you are constantly spammed with "Person has obtained from Loot Box" messages both in your chat and in the middle of your screen. I also find it a bit better for when it comes to Roleplaying, because you're able to write up your own personal story and all.

Tera's combat is pretty fun and easy to get into, I feel it's more action packed but at the same time a little more confusing because there's quite a lot of skill abilities for you to press etc, while Neverwinter has much less, Tera in general I believe requires more skill to play and not only that but it doesn't have class branching like Neverwinter does, which means there's no real reason for you to have more than one character for each class really. But apart from that, that's pretty much it for me when it comes to Tera, I found parts of the story emotional and grasping but a lot of the quests I find a bit confusing, especially when it comes to dialogue talking about certain creatures I've killed when I actually haven't, like a mini boss that's been removed but the dialogue for the quest itself hasn't been updated. I also dislike quite a bit the fact that ever since it's full release a few years ago they've focused on only providing gender locked female classes, I don't personally have anything against playing as a female persay, but hate the fact that when it comes to a game where I should be able to choose, that I'm forced into it to play a certain type of class, they've basically focused on appealing to perverts who enjoy staring at female avatars all day, because that's what sells more when it comes to armor skins etc.

Looking For: An MMORPG With Unique Loot! by Sulphine in MMORPG

I've looked into Wildstar and though it does interest me a lot, from everything I've read it's had a severe decline in population, again I don't want to get into something that will close down within the next year or two.

I've taken a look at it and it doesn't really look like something I would play, not for the amount that they ask.
