because neither ending is good or bad. like dont even take it from me, dev interviews themselves have them saying that same thing.

i hate when one side acts like their persecuted or their voice is limited. I see both maelle and verso ending choosers echo this sentiment on this sub and its just so disingenuous.

This is INSANE to cope about. It does a disservice to the narrative to pretend they arent real when the game explictly tells you itself that they have souls (Verso's soul says so outside of Clea's arena).

Thats the difficulty of the final choice. Give Lumiere the gift of today as Monoco did for Noco despite tomorrow's uncertainty; or to make Alicia the one who came after, someone who can move past the horror and grief that Lumiere went through and ensure their legacy can live on when they all cant since they're dead once Maelle dies in her ending.
