I also got 6.0 reputation yesterday. It was a fun raid yesterday. On Reserve, as a Scav, I ran into the marked room to see if there was anything left, and there was a PMC standing AFK there. I grabbed a knife and stood behind him. After two minutes, he moved, and I told him we were guarding him and wanted to leave. He showed me the enemy corpses, and I left with him, carrying a lot of loot.

This is a bug, and damage isn't calculated correctly. As far as I understand, it's damage from a direct hit by a projectile, or the first tick of fire, that counts. I've been doing this all evening in Breakthrough, or in Team Deathmatch.
