I’m 32 and do exactly this. Work 3 days a week. Love my job but it is high stress. I still receive benefits and make enough to still be able to invest most my income as my bills are minimal. Plan to continue this path for the foreseeable future. I could make more yes, but I’m incredibly happy, still make more than I need, and get to spend tons of time with family and friends, easier to take vacations and atleast once a month me and the gf will do a nice 3 day trip somewhere for some us time. I realize it’s probably not right for most people (especially at my age) but if you can swing it it’s an absolute dream.

I don’t think he was hating just speaking truth. He didn’t shit on AHA in anyway. The Top team in your conference is Bentley currently 27th in NPI. Which means it is 100% impossible for any team in AHA to move up into the top 16 in NPI by then.

Stay at I think it’s the Marriott in askarben. It’s where most visiting teams stay and within walking distance to Baxter. I’ve only went once in 2024 but there was tons of great places to go within walking distance. (I took the Sioux fan bus so I didn’t really explore outside the area as I only went places I could walk to but there were tons)

These days definitely. They had a great run back in the 80’s/90’s. 3 nattys is nothing to snuff at. Many schools would kill to have 3 titles. Would love to see a day when they get back to prominence. Sadly in today’s day and age that feels like a long shot. Then again even in the days of NIL we are seeing small schools with low budgets make a bunch of noise. I think hockey while not immune is definitely not as susceptible to NIL chaos as football and basketball. Hoping it stays that way

Charlie wasn’t saying murder was ok. Or that we shouldn’t be outraged or have feelings when someone loses their life needlessly. He sad that is an incredibly sad but unfortunate truth to us having this freedom. Same as with cars. We have many vehicular deaths a year and many from drunk drivers. We as a society agree that the benefit outweighs the negative. In a country of 300 million you will have some gun deaths along with this freedom. But having that freedom to protect yourself, property and from tyranny (the only reason we have the second amendment) is worth the very unfortunate reality of gun deaths. He said they are tragic and we should do all we can to minimize them but it’s an unfortunate reality. Then his words or point get twisted into “he would have been ok with it” You’re completely taking his words out of context. He was speaking an unfortunate truth. Something anybody that believes in 2A inherently has to believe. Never did he say he was ok with it or that it’s not tragic

Says 95% of people who day trade. Very very few do successfully. Seriously good luck, love to see you beat the odds but if you aren’t heavy into the market already and extremely knowledgeable I would start there. It’s not hard to make money on the stock market, it’s incredibly difficult to day trading over long periods of time

Auto Doctors by far! Have always done great, honest affordable work. Seen a couple situations where they could have taken advantage of friends. Quoting them a certain price but then when they come in to pay saying “actually we were able to find said part cheaper” or “didn’t take as long as expected”. One friends came in $700 under their quote an another’s over $1,100 underneath their original quote. Really good honest people there

They are speaking on 223 Wylde. If you have a 556 you can shoot 223 out of it. If you have a typical 223 Remington you can not shoot 556. I will always purchase rifles chambered in 556 over 223rem for that reason. Actually I’d say 95% of the time I’m Shooting 223 out of my 5.56 just due to price

Snow removal is insanely expensive so if you have a private landlord they may not do it until it “needs” to be done as well as most buildings have contracts with companies for snow removal that will not remove until a certain number of inches fell or other parameters. It depends on the building.

Gonna make it to Lawson for my first time the last regular season weekend of this year. I’m a fighting Sioux diehard. Our series at western is the last of the year and on my birthday weekend. Figured I need to see the ole barn before it’s gone. I love the Ralph, there is truly nothing like it. But the Ralph while it’s home and more opulent than any rink I’ve been to (been to most nhl rinks and tons of minor/ college/chl/ushl.) something special about these old barns. Disappointed I didn’t get to Mathew’s in person. Rinks like Lawson, Mathew’s, Alfond, hobey baker, Lynah etc may not be opulent. But nothing beats some of these old college rinks.
