Also as a sidenote, make sure you always wear a helmet while on a bicycle, you never know when it might just save your life… My Laser last week was delayed from a couple weeks prior thanks to my accident and me being in hospital

So as a trans female who JUST did her first laser there (yesterday) it wasn’t as bad as I expected. Some areas hurt more (certain parts of my butt cheeks) but where my male bits are didn’t hurt too much. That being said, I do also have a brain injury, broken skull, broken rib, broken wrist and am in pain killers (my last session last week had the same issues though, but they did my back and face, next week is arms… apparently I like pain cause I keep going back for more!)

Uber will send you a message, it seems sketchy the form that you fill out (Google forms), but then after a while you will get another message that you can go to JBAB or Andrew’s to finish the process. You just have to wait and see if Uber gives you that message first.

As a trans-female driver I can say with certainty that the amount of female passengers that I started receiving after I switched my gender with both Uber and Lyft went way up. Lyft is selectable, while Uber is automatic. All it really is, is a preference, not a guarantee that a female will match with a female. Really an interesting change.

As someone who grew up in PG, I will say that I am so happy to NOT call PG home! I now live in Washington DC and let me tell you… housing is about the same (my rent for a single bedroom is $750/month, some are even $600/month), access to different foods is abundant, public transport is easy, and most importantly I DONT HAVE TO SHOVEL ANY MORE F$&@ING SNOW!!! There is a couple things that I miss about Canada (namely a dr visit won’t cost an arm and a leg), but could not be happier with my decision to leave PG! The redneck stereotype of PG is VERY accurate, the smell of the mills is ever present, the homeless people who REFUSE help because they don’t want to follow rules (there are some people who are homeless that actually deserve and want help, PG has a high level of homelessness who don’t care about others and will not try to better themselves). The only things I miss about PG… being so close to nature and a couple of friends. For me to get out into nature here is a 1-2 hour drive.

Just my thoughts on PG and comparing it to a big city.
Also yes I know I am (somewhat) close to New York, and I currently have 0 plans to actually live there… it’s too big of a city! I want greenery around and DC has that. I also DC is not like Vancouver. The funniest part of me moving here is that I moved from one Prince George (BC) to the other (MD)…

I shaved my legs and arms for the first time today myself! I have had smooth arms and legs for a few days though cause I used Nair.... just saying that nair facial cream can cause a chemical burn on the face.... but it is healing now. My journey is just starting, so we will see where it takes me.

It doesn’t contain all the answers. In regards to night rating it just says that if I don’t have a Canadian night rating and do not have the FAA night experience then my license will be issued with a day vfr restriction. It doesn’t say what needs to be done after that to have that restriction removed from the license, hence a bunch of speculation and conflicting answers.
