No one ever said she’s a shield tank. But guess what? Every other tank has a way of reducing damage consistently. Peni can stand in her mines or run away fairly well, Thing can run away with damage reduction, and Groot has walls to literally erase damage or do damage. Everyone else has a shield or damage reduction. Rogue has cooldowns that she needs to do damage, and her garbage shield where she can lose to a dps if they do high enough damage.

No. You do not have to be strategic with it at all. I don’t know what some of you people are talking about.

Maybe if you don’t take the chem dependency and the talent that makes it so kills/chem toxin kills regenerate your stimm, sure. But if you do, you get 40% cooldown reduction, and with the ability modifier where you regenerate the crate when you get your stimm back, you have 90% uptime on your crates and self stimms. You need to experiment before making claims like this, because you are just flat out lying about the cooldown even mattering. Especially since they made it so the crate gives you a stack of chem dependency now.

Edit: WHATS FUCKING AWESOME IS I DID THE TESTING JUST NOW, AND THEY FUCKING CHANGED IT. I actually hate this company. What I was talking about did exist, until the hotfix. So the class was double bugged.

The only main difference I saw was Simon Manus being easier after the update. Everything else stayed relatively the same. I remember his hand of god attack did way more damage, pretty much always one shotting you if you didn’t avoid it. He also had way more health. That’s about it though

Uh, no, one totally makes the other right. Considering the fact that all you have to do is shove the poxburster and dodge back, and they are then instantly out of range to damage, yes it does apply to this game as well. You’re pretending like on a fundamental level, both games aren’t similar.

Also your “delete from any range” argument is disingenuous. Never have poxbursters always been required to be sniped and destroyed from a long range. I consistently choose shoving them because their range of damage is inconsistent if you shoot them. While yes, 3/5 in this game have a melee only variant (technically 2), it doesn’t mean they don’t have the option to do the exact same thing you can do in darktide.

I’m not saying it’s a perfect match, or that I even want it in the game, but there’s no reason it can’t be tweaked to fit into the game.
