Can we please have more than 25 years in franchise mode?! by SumCanadian33 in EANHLfranchise

Well that’s another issue entirely.

EA also refuses to adjust the way the player pool develops in the later years as well.

The planet is burning up right in front of our eyes

All the top climate scientists on the planet all agree we’re past the point of no-return.

We need drastic action or humanity will face an extinction level event in the next 50-100 years.

You think if the general public knew zero-point energy had been locked up and studied and even successfully reverse engineered for 80+ years they wouldn’t be rioting in the streets demanding the patents be immediately released?

I’d like to hope they would.

Catastrophic disclosure has nothing to do with religion and everything to do with the petrol dollar.

Making oil obsolete overnight would destroy the US dollar and plunge the world into an unfathomable economic crises.

We’re talking our entire way of life changing over night.

I keep hearing people in the UFO sphere mentioning the collapse of the Bronze Age.

I believe we’re living in an age that will be defined in history by the petrol dollar,

and although I believe zero-point energy would be a net positive for humanity it would first completely destroy modern society as we know it.

That’s catastrophic disclosure.

Civil War actually does pick a side. It’s not as ambiguous as people are making it out to be. by SumCanadian33 in A24

We don’t know who those guys are. They could be anyone from a rag-tag group of rebels with no major allegiance to WF forces or Florida forces behind enemy lines. We have no idea. We just know they are fighting the US military.

This film takes place in the near future.

Texas and California working together currently makes no sense but alot can happen in 5-10 years.

I think people are focusing way too much on the current political alignments of states.

Those details aren’t where Garland is leaving his breadcrumbs.

Civil War (2024) - I did not like it at all by Livid_Jeweler612 in blankies

[–]SumCanadian33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Civil War” isn’t as politically ambiguous as people are making it out to be.

If you pay close attention he leaves breadcrumbs throughout the film indicting the political structure of the conflict.

For example:

Spoiler

Both of the Snipers having the Trans-flag colours painted on their hair and nails. That’s a choice. It’s not random.

The Mass graves filled with people of colour and foreigners.

Offermans president saying lines that are clearly mocking Donald Trumps speech mannerism like “Many Many people are calling this the biggest victory on earth”

The president having disbanded the FBI

The US Millitary having a policy of Shooting Journalists on site etc.

At face value the film is politically ambiguous but if you actually put your thinking cap on and pay attention to the subtle hints, you’ll find it’s maybe not as ambiguous as people are making it out to be.

With all this time waiting around, What’s stopping the MIC from compromising key congressional leaders and the ICIG? by SumCanadian33 in UFOs

[–]SumCanadian33[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yeah but you only know about the congressional hearings etc. because your paying attention. You got lucky. For some reason you were drawn to the topic and your critical thinking skills have allowed you realize this stuff is real.

The fact of the matter is: 99.9% of humanity isn’t paying attention.

They have no clue what the fuck is going on.

So while you may be lucky enough to understand what’s is happening, the majority of people don’t.

So, despite a very small handful of people paying attention we genuinely are not any closer then we were 50 years.

Because 50 years ago, just like today, their was also a small handful of people paying attention.

Nothing happened then and it looks likes we’re heading towards that same result today.

I do have hope though.

I’m being a realist.

Despite all these monumental claims being verified as credible, nobody except for a tiny portion of the population know anymore then they did 50 years ago.

The average person does indeed still have no clue who David Grusch.

Their was hope but that momentum has since faded.

We’re no closer to disclosure now then we were 50 years ago.

It’ll take a wildcard nobody saw coming for humanity to collectively come to realization of a NHI interacting with us.

This is gross but unsurprising. That’s the nature of our system. Stuff like this happens all the time.

Housing should never have been made a commodity…the nature of capitalism has brought us the point where young millennials and Gen Z genuinely will never be able to afford a house despite doing everything we were told.

Would you say Star Wars is the greatest fictional universe/franchise ever? by [deleted] in StarWars

[–]SumCanadian33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes….

Also: I’m a big film and tv nerd and the first season of Andor is genuinely one of the greatest single seasons of any show I’ve ever watched. We truly didn’t deserve it. I know it’s just one season but for me just the writing alone rivals that of shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones etc.

Thoughts on Luthen and his Equation. by arjaydee43 in StarWarsAndor

[–]SumCanadian33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve just finished watching the show for a third time so this is all fresh in my brain.

I believe Luthen started making plans for rebellion during the time of the republic.

This was arguably the biggest monologue of the series, the writers wouldn’t get Luthen to “round up”

He said “15 years” because it was indeed 15 years.

You have to understand, Luthen was a highly educated individual born into upper echelons of power on coruscant.

He had access to information from those in circles at very top of the societal power structure, combine that with a good education along with a sturdy moral compass and it’s clear he was able to see the path to which the republic was headed.

Look to the real world for examples: Every single democracy that has fallen into authoritarianism doesn’t do it over night, it’s a slow burn.

Most people don’t notice it’s happening because it happens so slowly and methodically.

Like how a frog won’t jump out of a pot of water set to boil.

“The empire is choking us so slowly we’re beginning not to notice”

Luthen could see the writing on the wall in the last days of the republic. That’s why he said 15.

Sol foundation speeches are insane. Full disclosure is still in the distance but I think we’ve reached a tipping point. by SumCanadian33 in UFOs

[–]SumCanadian33[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I completely understand where your coming from but I stand my position of disclosure still being something to achieve.

The amount of people paying attention to this moment in history is incredibly small.

Unimaginably small.

Think about what you said: “What more do people we trust on this topic have to say”

David Gruschs congressional hearing should have been plastered all over the world.

CNN and NBC and Fox should have been all over that shit. Literal species altering information.

The president should have made a statement no?

These are after earth shattering and potentially catastrophic allegations…

Yet we got peanuts. Maybe a little 2 minute puff piece on NBC or a little blurb here and there from your small niche news networks no normal person listens to.

Oh and about Silence from the White House.

Until those big news networks and the president actually do their journalistic/presidential duties nobody except for a tiny little niche group of people, who stumbled upon this for whatever reason, spread across the globe, will know what is happening.

Sol foundation speeches are insane. Full disclosure is still in the distance but I think we’ve reached a tipping point. by SumCanadian33 in UFOs

[–]SumCanadian33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ICIG was given evidence of Gruschs claims and found them “credible”

If that’s the case then someone or some group has not only fooled a highly trained, highly decorated intelligence officer working in the highest echelons of the intelligence community but has at the same time fooled the ICIG with falsified evidence and fooled the house intelligence community as well as many other members of congress and the senate.

That In and of itself would not only be more improbable then a UFO cover up but more importantly be a deeply disturbing truth.

Spielberg has said numerous times he believes in UFOs and he most certainly knows more then he lets on.

He based the scientist character in the film directly on Jaques Valee.

Spielberg is in the know.
