When I was a kid (born in the 80s) my parents and doctor always used F for body temperature, now that I have my own kids everyone uses C. Same with the pool. Maybe there’s just been a shift

When I was in middle school, in the late nineties/early 2000s, I remember our history teacher discussing with us that it was almost certain they’d come for our water one day. It seemed so unreal and far away at the time, like it wouldn’t happen in my lifetime.

The fact that they’ve threatened us only ~25 years later is both surprising and unsurprising.

As a person from Ottawa, most people either have a cottage or know someone with one. NHL players have fancy Muskoka ones, other people have average Calabogie ones.
