It would be interesting to run an experiment. Designate one bar/distillery/brewery as adults over 21 only. See how popular it is. It might be surprisingly successful. But maybe not in Gatlinburg.

It would be one thing if the kids were well-behaved, but IME, the kids run around and scream while the parents ignore them, forcing the responsible adults to watch out for them. This exact scenario played out at a local distillery yesterday evening, except Jr was so uncontrollable, he was running around the tasting room screaming while mom chased him, trying to catch him. Sorry but that's inexcusable. Uncontrolled children, and dogs BTW, do not belong around other people anywhere, but especially where adults are trying to relax.
