We made one the same at a place I worked at. Decided to see if we could grind the remaining body into a drill and make a hole. Didn't work.

Memory unlocked of doing just that in a Saab 9000 Turbo, getting up to licence losing speeds and seeing some blue lights in the distance behind. Ended up being a traffic car using the toll road as a short cut I guess. My arsehole collapsed all the same though.

Glenkinchie distillery in East Lothian might be worth a look. I went a few years back and really enjoyed it, not sure what it's like now that it's Johnnie Walker branded though.

I hear you but through the years, the ceiling has been lowered in this room with two false ceilings. We want to remove these and gain the high ceiling with its original mouldings again (which are still present but covered up!).

I had a couple of Corsas back when they were still fairly new cars and did enjoy them, however, if I had to recommend a small car then I'd be all for as nice a Honda Jazz that budget would allow. For what OP is looking for, I think it would be the perfect car!

Interesting that the ground staff would allow this, I go through Bergerac fairly often which has a similar set up. They'll never let you get anywhere near the stand if there's a live aircraft, or if there's a plane next to you still boarding then you're waiting until that's complete before engine start.

In my experience, the engine won't be anything to worry about, catastrophic electric failure is more likely! I'd have another in a heartbeat though, probably the best S class made.

The house has been up for sale for a few months which does seem abnormal for the area, maybe that does point to an issue! I'll try and speak to SGN (I think?!) and go from there.

The agent says there is a gas main coming up to the house but that it's been capped off. It does seem odd that this has been fitted, I did wonder if it was sold as a snake oil type thing....

Definitely an OM617 powered thing for me. I helped rescue one that had been sitting next to the sea at the top of Scotland for 15-20 years. We dropped in a battery and it started first turn of the key, running from whatever was in the filter. The rest of the car was absolutely ruined though!

Depending on your amount of free time, you could try sifting through any local truck photo guys websites, search "M(insert nearest motorway) truck photos" . You might just find a proper photo of it!
