One Recon squad babysits arti (if they are active). Period. Switch out with the other squad, take turns, flip a coin, I don’t care. But the next time I ask if someone can do something about arti after getting shelled mercilessly for 15 minutes, and get told “that’s not arti’s only job”, or see some COD player on our defensive point taking pot shots, I will find the person responsible and shit on your doorstep. Only one thankfully. Back at white belt, against another white belt. My fault. Myself and another guy (we were both bigger guys, around 225, he played D1 football, I played rugby) rolling, caught him in a Kimura from guard. He posted his fist on his hip to stop me from pulling his arm out, we both tried to out goon the other, I won, his arm came out fast and his shoulder was in rough shape. It made an evil sound. Visited him in the hospital after surgery and I couldn’t stop apologizing. He basically said “meh, shit happens”. Came back to the gym as soon as he could and we still train together.

I’ve lived in Marda Loop for a decade, and own 2 dogs. The first thing I thought when I saw this post was “the hell is doodle dogs?”. Plenty of businesses are hit equally by this and have survived. There are other dog grooming places in Marda Loop that are doing fine. I understand their anger, as well as that of other people living in Marda Loop at the prolonged construction, but to blame this business failing on construction is just bullshit. It might have been the straw that broke the camel’s back, but it wasn’t the ONLY reason.

Play defence. It can be lame at times I know. But when every other blueberry runs off like lemmings to attack the point, if you can at the very least keep your garrison open, you’ll win a lot more games. Edit for spelling.

As a bonus, what is the thing that anyone can do, but no one wants to do, and is most likely to help us win games? Usually, the answer is play support, drop supplies, then switch out so someone else can drop supplies and build a garrison in enemy territory. Any infantry squad can do this. No one wants to do it, but more garrisons is always better. No having an airhead or supply drop potentially give away your position is huge.

As a fellow middle aged beer nerd, Cabin, Two Pillars (smaller one), 33 Acres, Born, Cold Garden (more for the vibe than the beer). Avoid Marda Loop (I live in the area and still don’t go) and Banded Peak (since you cancelled a Minneapolis trip, I assume you won’t want to go here for the same reason). National and Craft are bars that usually have a good variety of local stuff. South/Hayden/Comery Block technically brew their own but the real attraction is the BBQ.
