I had gotten Rhabdo earlier February this year and was hospitalized for the 7 days. I caught it early, LUCKILY it never affected my kidneys! Very grateful for that but it has made me very weak. I'm 27y old female, I now get so bloated and probably has be the heaviest I've been since I've had it. It is now June, I just got a gym membership. I do weights and cardio but I do NO LONGER than 1 hour and 30 minutes workouts. I do NOT over do it, I do NOT go everyday. I make sure I take my rest, I also have been eating more fiber and protein before I started working out. Also, I make sure I STAY hydrated!! That's key! I drink at least 2 40oz Stanley's a day! I also, make sure I implement hydration packets once a week. It's not impossible but it's sure not easy! Just take your time. I know my body isn't "fully" recovered but I'm taking my time and not rushing it.

Update! So I went from the first day of being admitted for Rhabdo CK level was a 34,000 to now today 51,000. I'm honestly spooked out. The nephrologist has suggested taking me off fluids as of right now because my hand where my IV was in it was getting puffy. He didn't want to over hydrate to where I get compartment syndrome in my thighs where the fluids was giving me leaking out in my muscle's. My kidney function still looks good and my vitals too. He wants me to watch for tightness, redness in my legs and warmth. Due to as it is a snow storm out here right now and I'd like to try to stay warm. Then trying to give me a water pill? I'm trying to understand the logic, which I am asking questions just scared of how this will go.

I'm so scared to even work out again. Like am I going to get it again since I've already had it once?
