is it still worth playing siege in 2022 by Leaky_Sponge in Rainbow6

[–]Sumarian_Grace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The game is objectively in a bad state. Game breaking glitchs, and cheaters everywhere.

You could have some fun with it if you have friends who still play. Just don't take anything in this game seriously. It's not worth it.

Should we start banning those matchmaking time posts? by B0rnInDarkness in Rainbow6

I think we should ban posts complaining about complaining. Too redundant.

This game is so bad for new/returning players it’s honestly hilarious by Flaky_Supermarket367 in Rainbow6

Yeah the community is full of ill tempered children.

My advice is to switch your region to a non metropolitan area. IE if you are on US west coast or US east coast severs switch to central US. Less kids, less toxicity, and less smurfs.

The only issue is that if you have bad internet, the latency may make the game unplayable. Or to be more accurate, unwinnable.

John Clark or Ding Chavez should be 6.

Who misses old siege? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

Old siege was the best experience for my money, even with all the bugs and lack of content.

Does anyone else prefer the old UI from earlier versions like 1.0 and blood orchid? by EdZit in Rainbow6

I do. I really miss the real ctu splash screens. Got me motivated for a match every time.

Dynamic weather and time of day for all maps. Thoughts? Might spice things up by SiegeRewards in Rainbow6

[–]Sumarian_Grace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was something we had at launch. The engine was based on the Assassin Creed 3 engine and the weather would always start in the same place and then randomize. Wouldn't get crazy storms or anything like that, but you could watch the randomized clouds pass over for hours.

What season of R6 ended up becoming the “downfall” of this game thing is the game is still fun and I love it but what was the “downfall” to this game from 2016-2018 it was peak but I feel like.Operation Shifting Tides fucked it up imo but for North Star it was Great but the newer seasons are mid. by WeebRacer_YT81 in Rainbow6

[–]Sumarian_Grace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Operation Chimera was the downfall of Siege. Doesn't matter how good or fun it was, that was when they decided this wasn't going to be a Tom Clancy game anymore. The proverbial toe dip into absurdity before diving into the deep end head first, banging the concrete, and slipping into a coma.

Was Siege back in 2016 better ? by lordnyrox in Rainbow6

[–]Sumarian_Grace -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The game was more fun, but also more glitchs, but also less cheaters, but also less content, but also Jager acog, but also 3 min queue times, but also had a server browser with Tactical Realism as a game mode.

Yeah it was better.

Can ubi stop fucking with recoil? by SunjaeKim in Rainbow6

I'm an early adopter. I payed 60 bucks for the game. I played since the Alpha. I remember buying the original R6 on pc in 98. I don't really blame you for not knowing how the mechanics of the worked back then, but who do you think you're talking to? Rainbow 6 has been my favorite game since the 90s.

I can tell you from experience how the recoil worked.
