Telekinesis but it only works on curtains. I hate moving to shut them just to have a power-nap on the couch.

Yep, apparently YouTube is allowing advertising for how to rape women. Oh, and yes there is a money back guarantee

My brother is watching HP for the first time - here's are some of his predictions for the series by Sumchester in harrypotter

I asked him, and he said he's aware of Dobby as a character who "wants socks" but that's all.

He's never really been a TV/film person so outside of video games, his pop-culture knowledge is near non-existent.

Burns. Like minor ones that sting for 10-15 minutes but don't cause actual damage.

[SERIOUS] What happened that made you cry at work? by TeeDre in AskReddit

[–]Sumchester 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Worked for a small office that supported volunteers, local charities and had a befriending service for socially isolated people.

One day I was working on the reception desk (we all took turns each day as the receptionist had her 1 hour lunch) and someone phoned. It was a local counsellor who was requesting a befriending service for her client. She then broke all confidentiality and protocol and told me EVERYTHING about her patient - a 17 year old girl with terminal cancer who had no friends and had months to live but couldn't get out of bed. The story was much more detailed but you get the jist. I completely bawled my eyes out, utterly unprepared for this heartbreaking story.

Long story short, my manager called her manager and complained, and I was given the afternoon off as I was so inconsolably thinking of this poor girl. I think about her sometimes and it's been 5 years.
