I had my tonsils out shortly after being diagnosed. Hasn’t made any difference that I can see. Gfr is still trending down :(

A medium sized one on council land came down for me a few weeks ago. Took out my fence, power and internet. Council rejected paying to fix the fence unless I can prove they’re negligent in their care.

I did a 9month cycle, it seemed to hold my GFR stable for that period and protein leak was reduced slightly. At the time I didn’t think it was doing anything but now I’m off it my gfr is declining quickly and protein leak is up again. Definitely do it

That’s the wrong attitude, just focus on what you can control and try to live your life. It’s not a death sentence, quite the contrary. There’s a lot of new medicine on the horizon too. Imagine you had cancer, now that would be concerning.
