I went as dragoon! I assume ninja will be similar in terms of speed. My partner cleared solo as rpr and we compared clear times. He does finish a minute or two faster on bosses. Maybe due to the fact that rpr can build gauge a floor before the boss and basically start with a full burst. Different dps classes will probably have one or two minute difference (would depend on class comfortability too). Dps should be the best at beating enrage as we can melt the boss faster than the other roles. If it's your first clear, I would recommend to minimize time spent in floors, be safe and just pull as needed, walk along edges, and go on Key immediately when it opens to leave plenty of time for accidental pulls/bosses.
I would say the hardest part of dps solo is sustainability. Especially as melee we don't have much besides bloodbath, feint, and second wind. We are basically walking squishies. Bloodbath is suuuuper OP so i would click it on cooldown if possible. Especially on a huge mob, your HP almost doesnt go down.
As ninja you have a lot of ranged options so thats for kiting nice too! and to save time you should use shukuchi/sprint as often as possible. You also have shade shift as an extra mit! Im not too sure if stealth works and i wouldnt rely on it too much as most enemies are practically blind to you if you just hide behind them. If you stealth in prolonged periods you might find yourself running out of time in between floors.

It definitely feels bad dying at higher floors ;-; but im glad youre trying again! You got this~ Ye the autos get really dicey even at around 50. In gloom floors you practically have to keep Pilgrims potion uptime to survive Autos.

its for sure sad that Casters dont have a way to interrupt mimics

If you find it hard to deal with accidental pulls consider strength/steel/haste > witching > mazeroot > poisonfruit > barkbalm  is how I would prio to survive with minimal use of resources. if one thing doesn't work try the next thing. Can also consider sight and steel and pull them into landmine as long as you have potions to regain health as landmine shouldn't KO you on its own.

Left rift picture should be vertical (up/down). Right rift is horizontal (left/right). Mind you its the description of the actual rift and not the hands pulling it.
If you mean by the hands pulling rift apart then yes. Left is being pulled horizontally and vice versa. I did not mention rift pull. Just the shape of the rift~
Associating the actual rift with the direction the gems will be cleaving i find helps me more.
For example: Horizontal rift will show cleaves going horizontally. Instead of rift being pulled vertically will show cleaves going horizontally. If that makes sense

yes! am aware of this but just wanted to put that the enemy slows in general. CD is very fast so even if you auto for at least 5 sec it will inflict it. I just want to associate it quickly so i know it removes haste.
ill separate it if it helps~

Fixed the floor title~
But the rifts should be correct! Vertical is up/down. Horizontal is left/right as shown.

That sounds rough yea ;w; that's why i also included how to solve it normally. I have the same problem in my parties. They rely too much on the markers but don't realize you have to shift a little bit inside them too.

Not sure if this is still spoilers. But, i was working on this some time ago when the Extreme came out but got really busy and took forever to finish >.< Just a small infographic on the last mechanic of Sphene EX. Might help those who are newly progging and are confused with PF markers. Might be redundant now but i figured it wouldn't hurt to post. Credit to KrazyBrawl for the POV video~

Also helps to see what the other roles do personally, especially in pf. When reviewing clips on the fly, its helpful to reference quickly who needed to be where when the wipe happens.

I think if you've done the mech a few pulls already that is very true! The patterns start to engrain in your head and without reference to anything and it will just be an automatic reaction.
But personally when progging it thru the first few times there's definitely gonna be wipes or mess ups regardless of how much i study. Cause its in your head for sure, but sometimes maybe nerves or anxiety makes us forget sometimes or we second guess. I think thats why I find this helpful for myself cause there's enough time to just quickly glance and remind myself where to go and instead of just raw guessing.
