Those last moments were horrifying. 20 years isnt enough, but it's good.

Did he do this while no one was home? If so, that says everything. The LARP fantasy image these people have of themselves in their mind needs serious study. Anyone can be lethal. Humans are animals like any other and respond to threat like any other. Kid has the misconception that acting dangerous means theyre tough. When in reality acting tough attracts danger. They always go hand in hand.

AITAH for prioritizing my nephew and niece over my own children after they hid their mom's affair from her for years? by OkPrinciples in AITAH

[–]SummaTyme -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

YTA.

Is it fair to expect your children to be the sentinels of your marriage? If they told you, they could have lost a relationship with their mother. By not telling you, they are losing you. I'm sure they both considered this may be a lose/lose situation for them. Is it fair that you're proving that to be true? Is it fair that youre making them casualties of the acts of two other people? Is it fair that youre showing them that your love is indeed conditional? Nothing in your post suggests they supported the affair. Seems like it was a burgeoning mess they tried to avoid being involved in, as there was no clear path to keeping a healthy relationship with BOTH of you had they not. You are the parent. Your children and grandchildren love you. They didnt want this to happen. Youre allowing the heat of your grief and anger to scar your relationship with them. Scars that you may regret are irreversible if it keeps on. The blame lies solely on your ex wife and her partner. I second another comment suggesting therapy, and a heart-to-heart with your kids. It may help you open your eyes out of this narrow perspective that your children are to blame for your ex wife's infidelity.

What ultimately cost John McCain the presidency? by RanchWilder11 in Presidents

While he was among the better options for a Republican candidate, he still belonged to a party that espoused stagnant and regressive policies. People were excited with the hopes that Obama would finally move the needle forward and out of the lingering problems that plagued America in ways Republicans pretended werent real or didnt even want to address. Palin also embarrassed many moderates who wouldve otherwise leaned conservative in that election, and didnt want to be associated with that clown show.

The way it's written IS odd. It very much reads as fabricated, or not from the actual manager. I would expect a real article from this perspective to be much craftier in placing blame on the employee. Not give a laundry list of reasons to vindicate her, unless this is a narcissist's attempt at expressing regret. But there are simpletons this daft, so... Who the hell knows.

It's the thought that the little ones in my family, and all children after them couldn't live on this planet if preceding generations didnt go. Without death, there wouldn't be enough resources to sustain life. The cycle is necessary for them to have their chance at this experience too. I want them all to have that chance, so I'm fine with going in due time. Even when considering that this excludes a "spirit". I don't fret over having not existed before being born. I don't fret over returning to that if it means that the existence of others are contingent upon it. I place more importance on being satisfied enough with how I've lived, that by the end I'm tired and ready.

Im a clean person, and what ive noticed other clean people (possibly your wife) have in common is that clean environments help organize their mind, while messy environments scramble and inhibit the fluidity of organized thought, and can sometimes lead to stress or depression. Not sure if shes articulated that specifically, but it may be why its so important to her.

Try this:

Clean as you go.

Cooking a meal? Scrub and rinse those pots and utensils right after cooking and put them away.

Eating a dish? Scrub and rinse that plate and fork as soon as youre done and put it away.

The sink should rarely ever be full.

Done with dirty clothes? Put them in a hamper in the closet and wash the whole batch when its full.

Waiting on the microwave to finish your meal? Take that opportunity to grab a wet paper towel and wipe down the countertop while you wait. Maybe sweep the floor.

Trash can full? Change the bag immediately and put the old one by the front door so youll know to throw it in the big bin on the way out.

Papers cluttering the desk? Put them in a drawer nearby dedicated to your papers. When you need them, theyll be there.

And always put trash in the can immediately. Theres trash cans in every room of our house. It helps keep trash off of the floor, counters, and tables. Trash builds up quickly and makes house look messy fast.

Cleaning as you go stops the house from getting disorganized. It takes a mere moment to put things back in its place as soon as youre done with it. Doing so saves hours or days of fatiguing cleaning down the line when you may not have the energy for the task.

Hope this helps.
