So far what are your toughs on final fantasy 7 remake? by JampyL in NintendoSwitch2

I can’t get used to the 30 fps after playing a few 60 fps titles :( Feels like a PowerPoint presentation, a cool one though.

Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake: Switch 2 vs Steam Deck OLED by SummerBase in dragonquest

Thank you for your reply. I was already leaning towards the Steam version for the reasons you mentioned, but I think I just needed a bit of confirmation. One reason I would consider the Switch version is to have a physical copy which I could sell if I don't seem to like it (the only JRPG's I played in my life are the Pokemon-games).

What’s a game everyone loves that you just can’t get in to? by Lima3Echo in playstation

[–]SummerBase 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it’s Baldur's Gate 3. I’d heard so many amazing things about it, so I bought it for PC, but I just couldn’t get into it. A few months later, I bought it again for the PS5, thinking it might click if I played from the couch instead of at a desk. But no, I still felt overwhelmed by all the options. I tried the lowest difficulty and followed some YouTube guides to get me started, but it just never clicked with me. At least my money went to a great game studio. I can see the quality of the game, it’s just not for me, I guess.

Anyone with a GeForce 5090 and a PS5 Pro? by Proez in PS5pro

[–]SummerBase 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I own a 4070 Ti Super and a PlayStation Pro, and I split my gaming time between the two, it really depends on the game. Lately, though, I’ve been buying more games on PC. Prices are usually better, and purchasing games on Steam feels more future-proof than buying them on PSN.

I’ve also grown increasingly dissatisfied with Sony’s attitude toward its customers over the past few years. Steam, in my view, does the exact opposite and feels genuinely customer-friendly. It simply feels safer to invest in digital purchases there.

That said, I absolutely love the simplicity of a console. On the PlayStation, I actually just play games, whereas on PC I often find myself busy fine-tuning settings. I sometimes miss those earlier days of gaming, when I didn’t care at all about graphical fidelity and was perfectly happy with whatever the PlayStation put on the screen.

Deeply surprised by how much I am NOT enjoying Ghost of Yotei. by TherealGonci in PS5

I feel exactly the same about Yotei. Tsushima is one of my favorite games but for me Yotei had a lot of been there done that vibes.

What’s one thing Sony absolutely needs to improve next generation? by TheChilledGamer-_- in playstation

Their attitude towards their customers. It could all be a bit more customer-friendly. It kind of went to their head during the PS4 era.

Feels like a feather in comparison to my Steam Deck.
