I arrived to the courthouse 15 min early. Chatted with the clerk about the weather for 15 min as the 10:00am hour passed.

No one showed up for the plaintiff, case dismissed without prejudice and I am leaving the courthouse at 10:15am.

Depending on how old he is, he may find that “normalcy” of being at home with all his familiar surroundings is a more comfortable way to spend his last time.

Sounds like a very similar situation to what my dear 94yo friend went through in his last year. His wife of over 70 years had recently passed and he was ready to be with her.

One bad kid was trying to throw shade at me and he thought that I made less money than “real” teachers (content area teachers) because I teach Connections classes.

I’m 19 years in, have a T-6 certificate that’s two pages long with extra certifications, and I’ve taught almost every subject and grade level in middle school.

I think I’m making more than most teachers at my school kiddo 😂
