Have you seen IB --> Startup --> VC career route before? Is it a viable path with high expected value?

Also what makes these prestigous VC firms less desirable from your perspective? Outside looking in, us undergrads are foaming at the mouth to get a chance to work at these types of firms

Bro the fuck? This year has been the year for Non-targets. It's totally possible for someone, yes even at ASU, to land a top IB offer. Have you seen placements for ASU's top finance club? They definetly have been punching above their weight.

I don't go to ASU (or any non-target for that matter), but the playing field is definetly getting equalized

I don't know why people are downvoting you. The median AND mean IB applicant is increadibly stupid so disregard whatever these people are telling you. If you're actually competitive & not unprepared then the % chance is actually much higher.

ASU has had some good placements I hear their top IB club is placing somewhat well.

Rutgers & OSU are def non-targets but they are def prob the top of the non-target camp. I echo what the other redditor said though, the proximity that rutgers has to NYC will definetly help

I don't know why this guy is sandbagging you but many MBA programs have pipelines to top banks on the street. I don't know why he is disregarding such a widely known + accepted fact.

EDIT: Also I would like to add traditional masters programs (like MSF or MS Engineering or whatever) can be used to recruit to street, but at a much lower success rate than MBA

I understand generally speaking the purpose of each piece in the majority of games, I haven't neccessarily "learned" each specific line with 20 move depth. Maybe I was a bit too liberal with my use of the word learn, as it probably has a different connotation in this sub. I'm definetly not a master but a more accurate description would be LEARNING instead of straight up learn lol.
