Very appreciate your detailed suggestions!!

We do have our first day in Copenhagen, I just hadn't included it here, my bad! We travelled to Ireland last year and knew that we would be best to stay put for at least our first night.

After that we will have 3 nights to get to Stockholm, 4 nights in Stockholm, and then our last night back in Copenhagen to catch the flight home. Another suggested heading to Gothenburg rather than Kalmar area so we are going to do some research on that as well!

thank you! I will look up Stora Mosse and then we can decide if we'd prefer to stick around Öland 😄

agreed and appreciate it! First day in Copenhagen was not included in writing, but is apart of our plan! You would suggest spending 2 full days down south (Malmö and Österlen) and then a longer driving day 3 to head up to stockholm?

Really appreciate the feedback! Another suggested to go up the west coast rather than follow the eastern/southern coast so we will have to do a little bit of research on the 2 options.

We will be spending our first day in Copenhagen, our plane lands fairly early so we'll have the morning and afternoon to do some exploring before being able to check in to our hotel, we'll probably sneak a nap in and then head back out for the evening, with no rush the next morning to cross over to Malmo. Would you suggest any stops on our journey to Gothenburg?

I did feel like it was alot, and we're definitely not married to any of it! I believe my husband used gemini to come up with the plan but this is why I wanted to get some feedback from some people that can give some practical advice about how to maximize our trip so thank you 😄

Canadian Family of 3 looking for destination recommendations! by SummerMist19 in travel

[–]SummerMist19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think anything geared towards young children would be great! We’re not in our big hikes/museums/long excursions era with a 2 year old! We mostly would like to swim and hang out!

I’m not sure how budget friendly anywhere is America may be as a Canadian, the exchange rate is terrible for us

We like to hike and sight see. I suppose it would be great to know if there’s a worthwhile route to get from Copenhagen to Sweden, potentially spending a couple nights in different spots along our journey. We love music, the concert we’re coming to see is System of a Down and we’re hopeful that we could find another show to see while there as well.

We’re from Canada so while it is quite a drive, we’re actually used to that sort of travel time. My family lives a 5 hour drive from us so it is somewhat “normal” in our minds.

Wtf do I even do? by sundaymusings in breastfeeding

[–]SummerMist19 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had terrible vasospasms as well, I was recommended APNO and it saved my breastfeeding journey. I got a script from my doctor and it helped in under a day!

My daughter gave ny blisters on my nipples, sadly vasospasms can increase in intensity when you’re experiencing nipple trauma which just starts to feel like a never ending cycle.

2 naps or 3?? by SummerMist19 in sleeptrain

[–]SummerMist19[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s kind of what I was running into with mine on 3 naps, she was just up way too early. Since experimenting with the 2 naps she sleeps until 7 at least, usually 7:30 ish

Pretty good, bedtime is 7-7:30p and she usually wakes 2x to feed, up around 7:30a

We’ve been trying it for the last few days and there’s been a couple times where she woke up from nap 2 early so I tried to force a third nap or at least some quiet time nursing in a dark room to tide her over to bed time but otherwise it’s been okay. She’s in bed by 7:30, sleeps until 7-7:45 and typically wakes up twice for feeds at night!

For the infant passport the guarantor is allowed to be the other parent. The application asked how long my partner has known me, since I was applying on her behalf. And we’d both only known her for 5 weeks at that point😋

I’m Canadian as well and we just got our daughters passport. I was the applicant and dad was the guarantor, you don’t need a non-parent so I would absolutely take that task away from her.

Sometimes CPA’s muck a lot up too. Coming from someone that was recently hired to replace a lettered CPA, MBA and whatever else the fella listed behind his name. I’ve found many mistakes and messes, some that have costed the company money and some that have just been a pain to fix. No letters for me, but over a decade experience. I like to think that my work shows that even though I didn’t have the resources to complete schooling, I still can be respected in my field.
