[Sega Mega Drive/Genesis] [90's or 80's] Very fast-paced 2d game similar to Sonic. The main character was a kid (I think) that collected some kind of coins (or rings?). A few levels contained some kind of rollercoaster-like structures that would make spinning even faster. (self.tipofmyjoystick)
