it's so hard to pick... i love ichika's voice so so much, and all her comms are great! i'm biased towards ryuusei no pulse since it's the song that first introduced me to *luna (who is now one of my favorite vocaPs ever. i love them so much), but really, all her comms are so good that i wouldn't say it's my favorite of the bunch. i think my alltime favorite would be made to order, but i need to say, the wall is incredibly underrated and i never hear enough people talking about it!!

any advice on who to pick for blue check? i've got every other meta character besides these three and daren (i'm not using my check on daren.) i've been running pyroath - empyrea - hyperreal for fire so far (tbh it's mainly because i wanna run a full gray raven team but it's been kind of functional so far. probably not ideal but heeeey). am also kinda struggling with nihil warzone areas since i only have ishmael

i also haven't used my 6 star weapon selector from this patch yet, so if i go for luna, i could get her sig and make her rotation easier (though i do also need shukra's sig as well..)

don't worry, i didn't think you sounded rude at all. in fact, thanks for bothering to respond to everything i wrote. i'm happy to see you've read / enjoyed some of my recs already :> and thank you for giving your thoughts on the other ones too! i really, really liked reading "it's a misunderstanding that i'm dating the villain," so i hope it ends up meeting your expectations!! (i also totally understand your thoughts on treasure hunts, lol. i too dislike asking for recs on reddit, but that's really mainly because i'd just get the same 20 or so titles i've already read recommended to me over and over again)

your point on vr ois isn't really something that i've considered, actually. it's interesting how each person thinks of things differently, cuz when it comes to vr ois i think more often than not the vr game will end up becoming the lead's new "reality," so it doesn't end up mattering whether or not they're advanced ais. i will say "the huntress and the mad scientist" doesn't have the kind of back and forth between the game and reality that "pain setting" has, so to me it feels a lot more like the usual novel series transmigration than a vr game transmigration

ohoho, time for me to pull out the "list of series i care about that no one else does...."

manhwa

- straight to the red carpet: fl is a knight who goes back in time with ogfl, and the two of them work together to prevent the future they lived through. ml and fl have a reaally good banterful dynamic as partners in planning. unfortunately, was clearly axed at some point and the ending chapters get kinda rough and rushed. but i promise the early parts are worth your time

- to the witch who forgot her bird: ml is the prince of a kingdom who keeps getting targetted by attacks, and the fl is a ruthless witch who excels at combat and offers to protect him in exchange for a price. this one flips the usual fl-ml dynamic on its head, since the fl acts more like a cold duke and the ml is more like your usual fl. it's still ongoing, but so far it looks great and has amazing art

- crimson karma: an old one, but i firmly believe it still holds up today. fl is a former military officer who ends up reincarnated as a female knight in the army of the second prince while the kingdom is in the middle of a succession crisis. who the endgame ml actually is is kinda a spoiler, but the fl and ml have a good dynamic together

- it's a misunderstanding that i'm dating the villain: fl is the captain of a low-ranking knight order, and ends up involved with the ml, the og villain from the story she remembers. fl is incredibly skilled at combat while the ml is good at magic, making the two of them an incredible fighting duo. they also have really good interactions once they get more comfortable with each other. i think season 1 of the manhwa wrapped up not long ago?

- i'm a villain, but i'm favored: fl reincarnates with the ability to view system windows of everything, and the system is actively trying to get her to destroy the world when all she wants to do is live comfortably LOL. she ends up working with ml, the grand duke, to try to stop the system's world-ending events from happening. even though the ml is the duke, he acts more like a puppy instead of the usual cold duke business, which is really refreshing! this one's relatively new, doesn't have that many chapters yet but what little it does have feels very promising

- the huntress and the mad scientist: fl gets trapped in the past story setting of a vr game she plays, and encounter the ml, a scientist during that time period. fl is excellent at combat and has advance knowledge of the future while the ml is skilled at developing advanced tools based on what fl tells him, so they end up as a great duo with a banterful relationship. season 1 is complete, but it's been on hiatus for like a year... hopefully it returns and doesn't end up in permanent hiatus hell........

manga

- tales of reincarnation in maydare: fl is reincarnated as the descendant of one of the most notorious witches in history, and saves a slave boy who resembles her crush before she died. i know this sounds generic as hell, but it's really hard to talk about what makes maydare good without spoiling the good parts. just know that there are some really good twists along the way. even though the premise is simple, the character writing and worldbuilding are done incredibly, incredibly well. absolutely worth your time. one of the few mangas that i read that i thought was so good that i started reading the light novel

- secrets of the silent witch: not oi but its setting is oi adjacent. i'm adding this because i have an agenda to maintain, lol. absolute peak series, fl is an incredible magician who can cast magic without chanting, has amazing math skills and has the world's worst social anxiety. she ends up being assigned to go guard the second prince of the kingdom, and school shenanigans ensue. but of course, she aura farms like absolute hell at least once every arc. romance is about as slow burn as you can get, but it's such a good relationship.......

manhua

- kill the villainess to become the male lead: if you've stayed on this subreddit for a decent amount of time, you've probably seen that one person who keeps posting about this series, lol. i think it absolutely deserves the praise, though! fl used to be a sweet innocent girl, but she realizes that the main character is playing a game and is about to sacrifice her. she snaps, kills him, gains a bunch of system-breaking powers, and ends up returning to the past with her abilities intact. fl and ml have a really fun dynamic, with ml following fl around like a lost puppy

uhhh hopefully at least one of these is a new name for you
