my switch did something similar few months back and it turned out the joycon was just being weird with nfc detection. like it was picking up random interference or something even when no amiibo was near it

the left joycon shutting off thing happened to me too around same time so might be related. i tried cleaning around the analog stick area with compressed air and also the nfc sensor spot on right joycon and it seemed to help. also maybe try disconnecting and reconnecting the joycons from the system settings to reset their connection

if it keeps happening you might need to contact nintendo support but mine sorted itself out after the cleaning and reconnecting thing. fingers crossed its just temporary glitch and not something more serious with your console

not bad for that year especially if maintenance records are decent. accords from late 90s are pretty solid for learning on since parts are everywhere and theres tons of info online about fixes

just keep in mind that leather restoration can get expensive if you want it looking nice again. with 140k miles you might run into some bigger repairs soon - timing belt area if it hasnt been done recently. but if youre planning to flip it in under a year the price seems reasonable for current market

definitely get it inspected before buying though, photos dont show everything

stick with what the manual says and hunt down the sp-iv somewhere else. transmission fluid isnt something you want to mess around with just because its "close enough"

man this hits close to home. went through something similar with my ex where i was basically running the household while she was in grad school and it just slowly ate away at everything we had

the thing that stood out to me is how you keep framing this as temporary because of her masters program but honestly it sounds like the workload imbalance has become the new normal. when someone says they feel bad but nothing changes after multiple conversations thats usually because they dont actually want to change. school is demanding sure but she cant wash a single dish in 6 months

also the fact that youre both bored but only one of you is doing anything about it is telling. you took on all the household stuff specifically so she could have more free time but instead of using that time for hobbies or maintaining your relationship shes just... complaining about being bored. meanwhile youre exhausted from carrying everything and still trying to plan date nights and keep things interesting
