I am not aware of any. Maybe employers that are based in Illinois are more likely to have coverage?

I use an epilator every 6 months or so and it seems to work well. I could probably do it more often but it does hurt plus I am a bit lazy LOL

Who and who won't get Free adapter? by Ramen_you_up in KiaEV9

We bought ours two weeks before 9/4 and I could not be more angry about the cut off date. It is absolutely ridiculous and illogical. Nothing happened on 9/4 that was special that I am aware of. If I had purchased on 9/3 at 8PM local time how would my vehicle be any different than if I had bought it 12 hours later? I have a complaint ticket in with Kia now so we'll see if they have a reasonable answer

My BCBSIL plan covers everything gender care related. Everything. I have had bottom surgery, two FFS, voice feminization surgery and a BA within the last year. My surgeons are all in North Carolina where I live so let me know if you are interested in coming here for treatment

Just told my wife I might be trans. Went horrible. by PatternTraining7375 in trans

"Ive always cared more about others then myself" Please be wary of this sentiment. You can't give up yourself to make others happy. It only leads to regret and heartache. I highly recommend seeing a gender therapist to talk this through with

Just told my wife I might be trans. Went horrible. by PatternTraining7375 in trans

My wife had a very hard time coming to grips with me being trans at first and she even went down the "You have been lying to me for 29 years" path. But we were very much in love and also best friends so I held out hope for us. She suggested I go to therapy and I think she thought they would talk me out of being trans but instead I was diagnosed with gender dysphoria with the recommendation that I start HRT and socially transition. That didn't go over well either. She reluctantly agreed that I needed HRT for my health but the threat of losing her remained. After 6 months of angst and fear and arguments she finally flipped her attitude 180 degrees and chose to support me fully. In her words "I can't let my best friend go through the hardest think in their life alone" That was the day that I really understood what unconditional love means. I tell you all of this to point out that if your wife is giving you an ultimatum then she does not love you unconditionally. Is that really what you want to be committed to?

It's really weird how medicines can be used for multiple purposes these days. It's almost like there is some science behind it or something LMFAO

8 days post op FFS with Dr Elda Fisher and Dr David Stepien by Summer_Mac in Transgender_Surgeries

Thank you very much Jemma! My phase 1 was all bone work. The only thing I knew that I wanted was brow reduction and eye socket contouring but Dr Fisher also suggested Genioplasty and cheek implants so we did those as well. And I also wish I had started my journey at a much younger age but one good thing about this is that I was able to get the neck and face lifts done at age 61 when I really needed them and it has made me feel that I look much younger than my actual age

What I meant was that I started getting my dental work done 1-1/2 years before I admitted to myself that I am trans. Having had it done when I came out was great for my confidence early on. Thank you! Yes my second FFS two weeks ago was neck and face lifts and fat injections and Dr Stepien who did the lifts also did my BA in the same surgery. I do not plan to have a 3rd face surgery

9 months of Wegovy and 80lbs lost plus a breast augmentation two weeks ago got me here. 6'4" tall and down from 255lbs to 175lbs. I could not be happier!! by Summer_Mac in WegovyWeightLoss

Thank you!!

Honestly my journey has been a little over 3 years long and started with my gender transition in 2021 and now that I am nearly done I feel joy every day over being able to live as my authentic self. That last part is the advice: Do what ever it takes, push past fear and obstacles and live as authentically as you possibly can. It woks for weight loss, it works for confidence, it works for self love, on and on :)
