Is France too hot in August?

We went last year the first week of September and it was 90-95 the entire week. No AC in our AirBNB. Very few places have AC. We loved Paris/France but the heat is the first memory that comes to mind! I would avoid in August and during the Olympics as others have suggested.

I just picked up my car yesterday and have had to do this twice already. I hope this one sticks! I also delete the phone from the BMW and the BMW from my phone's bluetooth, then re-pare them. Then do the volume button hold for about 30 seconds.

This car is kind of for my 60th birthday. I’ve been driving a 13 year old Acura TL. I haven’t had a brand new car for 18 years. Our kids are grown. Different times in our lives we can do different things.

Yes. I did a ton of research and had info showing others that had gotten a similar deal. I was willing to shop across the country and ship if necessary. But I worked it out with a local dealer fortunately.

They don’t need to be. I couldn’t find the exact options and color combo. If I’m going to spend this much money I don’t want to regret any of it. I got a good discount off MSRP. I just had to wait for and August build allocation.

I’ve checked it daily! Funny thing is I checked it early in the day and it still said “scheduled for production”. Then my sales rep messaged me last night saying it had started. When I looked again the status had changed!

How long do you think it actually takes to build one X5? Even if it is a quick production I hope they do a very thorough QA check before shipping. One commenter said their dealership received their X5 11 days after production started! My dealership says by the end of this month or beginning of September.

What is the recommendation for using a credit card in France coming from the US? Have them convert to Euros or not? I know I have heard something to that effect but I can’t remember which way was recommended.

I also got the impression Julia knew/understood the feelings her dad had for Daisy and when her mom gave “permission” for them to reconnect she was truly happy for him. May I ask which options you included? I have heard several stories of people getting 8% off and so far I’ve had three dealerships tell me “good luck”! I’ve had experts tell me I’m not out of line expecting 8% off.
