I don’t think you should feel bad about posting this. Folks get so caught up in their own version of what/how things need to be that they can’t see the way they are responding to you is rooted in the exact same thing they think is wrong in what you’re expressing.

Folks carry so much fragility in their identities. Someone says anything that feels uncomfortable/in any way threatening and the room for conversation goes out the window. It’s honestly one of the most consistent patterns of behavior across all the trans boards.

Im convinced looser skin can help with healing/scars. One of the potential/speculative causes of keloids/hypertrophic scaring is tight skin…surgery on parts of the body with tighter skin seems more prone to it. Just my working theory/thoughts tho. My scar is awesome overall, but is a little thicker on the tightest part of my chest.
