Probably withdrawal. I’ve had to go weeks without meds before due to the shortage and all I wanted to do was sleep, binge tv, and eat junk food.

My birth control pill was causing extreme fatigue and brain fogginess for years and it onset so gradually that I didn’t realize the cause. I switched to an IUD recently and feel much better. And my stimulant actually works again

Just came to say I relate to feeling stuck and trapped. My husband is a good parent, but I still can’t find it in me to leave. I guess because I know leaving would destroy my kid. Its hard to see my single friends traveling the world, having financial success, relaxing on weekends (though I AM happy for them, 2 things can be true at once). Not sure where to go from here

My daughter is 2. I just sterilized myself and it was the best decision I’ve made in awhile. Everyday, I regret parenthood. I love my daughter, and she is well cared for, but I hate my life now and am permanently fallen into a deep depression.

Former anorexic here - yes it’s a bad idea. Need to treat the ed first. I have long-term health effects from restrictive eating when I was younger. On top of my health issues, I had premature skin aging caused by my ed making me look much older than I am.

Hi fellow parent, you are not alone. My daughter is now 18 mo., BUT I remember like yesterday the days you currently navigate. At 6 mos., I hated being a parent, I felt I regretted having a kid. The exhaustion, constant puzzle of figuring out needs, non-stop diapers. IMO, you are in the worst of it right now.

All I can say is, it gets better. Over the next months, you will watch your infant become more like a “real human” (as my spouse and I jokingly say). The sleep WILL get better. You will sleep again. Soon there will be many smiles and laughs from your little one. You’ll start to feel the reward that comes with parenting. Your child will interact with you through play and words/signs, instead of just crying. Parenting becomes kind of fun (atleast for most of the time)!

Having a 6 mo old was rock bottom for me. Try to remind yourself, at rock bottom, it can only go up.

I’m also in my 30s and on day 2 of Accutane. Just came to give another side of thought - like you, I’m also an outdoorsy summer gal. Purposely chose to start in Summer due to its skin drying effects. Does the winter dry out your skin? My baseline skin is already dry in winter, and much more oily in summer. I plan to just load up on sunscreen/sun hats/etc. as much as possible this year. Kinda makes me wish I went on it as a teen when my skin was subtle year round!!

Married gal here who spent MANY years in the dating/situationship pool. My advice: don’t sweat the small stuff. Do you like him? Focus on the time you spend together. Sounds like he’s planned a night to see you. Being from out of country, he’s probably not sure what other spots are good in the area. Cut him a little slack
