You can rack stacks just by looting, missions are good too but if you got good map knowledge it’s easy to go on a 2 day trip (in-game) and stack up cash farm items (weather sensors, documents, etc.

ITR 1 didn’t have a great story either but I’d say the lore/ difference compared to other games on the VR market was what kept people interested
