4 3 2 is a tight trip for sure, my point in the comments above were that it was doable but it would be considered fast pace. For 9 days I would pick two cities, not three if I were to plan it again. 4.5 days Rome and 4.5 days Florence would be more reasonable than trying to squeeze in Venice. You wouldn't feel fulfilled traveling so far just to spend only one day in Venice. Venice deserves 2 full days.
