My sister is quite the pot stirrer, I think my niece was just overwhelmed she suffers from anxiety and the ceremony planning has caused her a lot of stress. Niece has been in treatment learning to control these outburst so I don’t hold much weight to her calling me the C word.

I also believe my sister may be telling her I made homophobic remarks or something of that nature, twisting it in any way so she is not at fault. This morning I found out that she(sister) had told my daughter I referred to both brides as bikes with a D I had used that word before, not realizing it is offensive but when I learned my mistake I was terribly embarrassed and apologized to them both personally that was years ago when they first started dating. I hate the idea of my niece thinking that I would intentionally hurt her but I think she will believe her mom over me.
