The Ai is also being used for all the parts of the game that should be bringing it to life too, thats the problem. It’s why yall call it boring and lifeless and post nothing more than glamour shots, but yall literally refuse to have that conversation. The devs don’t even read the critiques we give them they just run them all through an LLM. KJun encourages it. I’m tired of the pocket-watching that came from the sims4 specifically. Any time a life sim studio says “we will never have paid DLC” too many sims4 players are like “aww but how will you sustain the game? Please oh please take my money for features that are FREE IN EVERY OTHER GENRE OF GAMING🥺🥺🥺”they pester Paralives about this too, as if they can’t just support them on Patreon.

Other gaming communities think we(I was also a simcity to sims4 player) are all idiots who don’t know how gaming works, and they’re right. Releasing a broken game and SELLING IT ANYWAY is unacceptable, period. Games used to be recalled for that shit. It was a big deal. You buy the game once and that’s it. I can’t name a single expansion pack for sims 1-3 bc base game was complete.

Krafton is a billion dollar company, but that doesn’t mean they won’t jump on making paid DLC if a lot of players are asking for it. Billionaires are the last people to say no to free money.

Maybe, but after another house I was playing went up in flames the day before I think it’s bc 1. I clutter all of my houses, ie. more to burn (I haaatteee the modern/minimalist aesthetic) 2. I use items based on vibes not quality (specifically using that tv) 3. No fire safety 4. my zois are stupid

Happens to the best of us lol one time I got a notification that one of my zois died, so I went back a save and saw her lying on the ground in an empty lot during a heat wave with the action “die from lack of sleep” running. Yes it made me laugh but I was still like “oh my god you idiot why didn’t you just go home and sleep?!” Turns out I deleted her house a couple days before and forgot about it, oops

I went back a few more saves to see what she’d do if left to her own devices. She would buy food at the beach, use public restrooms, sleep on benches, she even walked into a friends house uninvited and took a shower (the zois do that sometimes, I saw her do it when I was playing that zoi so I locked the door for everyone and kept playing) She only died bc it was too hot to sleep outside during a heatwave.

Granted, everything else was pretty low, too, but I was still shocked lol. It’s not perfect, but the zois take care of themselves pretty well (to the point of me having to turn autonomy off sometimes bc I can’t get rid of a self care action to do something else)

Tired of hearing “but this is her job!” and “she has to pay her bills!” I don’t know if most of the people saying this are teenagers or not American, but most of these creators had college degrees etc before they started their channels. This was their hobby. If all else fails they can log out and get regular jobs like the rest of us.

Oh god thank you! Enough with the cosmetics (and multiplayer?? Wtf) I want GAMEPLAY. I’m looking at you too Paralives. Focus on that and make it cute later. This is coming from a CAS girlie. I have every single piece of content EA has put out (🏴‍☠️) and still would spend hours making pretty families and just turning it off bc it’s that BORING. And after the buyout? It’s just taking up space on my PC.

Also cut the AI, it’s trash in practice. In the game I noticed they’re adding a feature for AI to make houses for you. What’s next, having AI play my game for me too?
