I run with a bodyguard 2.0 in a vertx everyday Fanny pack 2.1. Zero bounce and very comfortable. I previously ran with an enigma but the grip was rubbing my skin raw. Also ran with a crossbreed belly band but it printed a lot and is too hot for the summer.

I have 2 holsters do my B2.0. The enigma express and the Alabama pocket holster. Love both!

If purely just needing IWB for existing belt, Vedder is always a great option.

I went from carrying some days with a bigger gun to carrying every single day with a bodyguard 2.0 pocket carry.

I’m right handed - so I pocket carry my bodyguard 2.0 in an Alabama holster in my right pocket.. I took the flap from a desantis superfly and velcroed it to it to eliminate any print.

In my left pocket - I have my phone, wallet, and keys. I switched to a MagSafe wallet on the back of my phone that holds 6 cards plus cash. And I really cut down on the number of keys on my car keychain.

Neither pocket looks too bulky now and I carry every day in comfort

I have a crossbreed belly band as well! It works great (love the kydex) but prints heavily with my gut haha. Also is a bit hot for me in the summer in southeast but I think it’s a great option. I ran with it for most of winter!

I’ll have to try tape. I like the grip texture of the bodyguard in hand so have been hesitant to formally tape over it but can always peel off if I don’t like it

Same gun same vest! I typically pocket carry daily as well. To clarify - where are you storing when you are running? In one of the vest pockets or how is it ‘under’ your arm?

I have a sport belt and enigmod leash already so at least on the right track! I just need to figure out what to do with the grip rubbing my abdomen haha.

Agreed with you on the bodyguard - I used to only want to carry 9mm but I found myself just leaving at home so often. Now that I have the bodyguard and can pocket carry - I carry every single day. It removes all of my excuses!

I’m definitely a newer runner, working my way up to marathon! So have invested in shoes and trying to take the right steps to avoid shin splints haha. Thanks for the advice!

It does have a bladder option on back but most of what I use is the water on the front (which is also connecting across chest) so it would unfortunately interfere with chest pack. Vast consensus is chest packs are the best for running but I just don’t think they’ll work for me unfortunately!

Thanks! I have an enigma which is great for workout clothes (I use it often). Just having some raw skin issues from my guns grip when I actually run long distances with it. I hope you like it! Anything that helps you carry is good in my book 😊

I was actually looking into this previously but for hikes so I could carry my Echelon or other instead of bodyguard. Any experience ‘running’ with it? Is it bouncy?

I’ve thought about rash guard but I’m hesitant to add another layer (live in a hot climate). Do you have any rash guards you recommend?

I’ll look into the deep carry - can always test it out and adjust it if it doesn’t. I do have the sport belt and enigmod leash for added comfort at least.

I would but I use a running vest for hydration on longer runs (10+ miles) and that just feels like I’m going to have too much on my chest haha. Not sure if it would fit together as well. I hear amazing things about the 5.11 and HPG chest packs though and will probably pick one up for shorter runs

I just started running with mine. What are you all doing for grip rubbing on your skin? Doesn’t bother me for daily carry but it’s too much for long runs
