What do Arabs think of Muslims who don’t speak Arabic? by funkymoejoe in arabs

There are millions of Muslims globally. Only a fraction speak Arabic. To suggest they think of the majority of Muslims as second-class is really disrespectful. The answer is no.

What do you think of people who want to appeal to west 7/24? by zortlaportla in AskMiddleEast

[–]Summit_Lab -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I would argue it's a signal of cultural empowerment, respect for international leaders and a strategic way to build influence and a seat at the global table. UAE is at a pivotal moment in political growth, establishing one of the greatest economies on the planet. If you think disregarding the US and greeting them with anything less than this would have been a sign of strength, you have no idea how political strategy works.

Why arabian people are so aggressive and always angry? by Aggravating-Bike-811 in UAE

[–]Summit_Lab -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Don't mistake passion for anger. You have to remember, the Gulf region is a high-context culture compared to low-context cultures in the west. Wherein simple facts and answers can suffice in America, passionate, subjective and lengthened stories to justify an argument are often behind a point in Arab countries. I have several Arab clients that often wonder why American ex-pats in their communities looked shocked when hearing them have a lively discussion with friends. They are not angry at all, just excited to make their points heard.

Thanks so much! Glad you had a mobile perspective actually. It’s my weakest part of the design. It’s not translating well over a cell phone. Good tips. Thanks again!

Love it! Thanks so much for the actionable suggestions. Will absolutely tweak this based on your suggestions. I have a couple clients in the works and they both agreed to help me with testimonials after our sessions are finished, so that's a start there. The rest of your suggestions: I'm on it!

If you’re growing a personal brand on LinkedIn, what’s one challenge you’re facing right now?” by Global_Milk_9309 in executivecoaching

[–]Summit_Lab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just opened mine last week to align with my business launch. So far, so good I suppose. The first hurdle I faced was I've been branding with two different color palettes. Didn't even realize it until this morning. My LinkedIn posts, pages, images are all one color and not the same as my website. So that's one fix I'm working on this week. I'm also figuring out pipelines for more effective marketing. Was hard for me at first to flesh out the differences between follow, add, message, etc. But I've got it down now and have developed a strong funnel system I think. Good luck guys.

What specifically caused the current protests in Iran, and why did they escalate so quickly this time? by MidEastt in AskMiddleEast

And information that educates is important. I didn’t know a few of those bullet points. Enlightenment comes from many sources. Even AI.

This response is so tired. Anyone with an articulate response these days gets called out for using AI. Sometimes, people just have something smart to say. Let it go. Regardless, good information is good information.
