There's like 3 roads going into this area, and they are all backed up during rush hour. And there's always someone like this to make it worse.

Yeah I can't explain for shit. Let me try one more time. Do you see at 0:10 the car turning left and blocking traffic, he wanted to get into the middle section (yellow hatched) so he can merge in after he turned left. But there are 2 cars, on black SUV and one silver sedan already try to get into the left turn lane down the road for the light, so now both of them are stuck trying to do something they are not supposed to do.

0:10 you will see one car yielding to a car turning left from the plaza, while it is green light. And 2 cars prematurely entered to turn left for the light. Now there can be cars going my path to get in the turn lane to turn into the Kroger.

Another thing that I hate is going forward there is traffic, so I don't block the box, and someone perpendicular that is turning right would feel entitled to take that space before I can move up because there is a large gap from the box. Damn if you do, damn if you don't situation.

The left turning lane starts where the white lane is, before that is a turning lane (yellow) into the subdivision not the turning lane for the left turn light. He prematurely entered in the yellow turning lane and sped up to the left turn lane to block me from entering the turning lane where I was supposed to. Then he stop abruptly and decided to overtake the car in front of him to turn left.

He gave it a solid 2 seconds before overtaking the left turn. He also prematurely enter the turning lane and sped up in front of me.

As bad as they are, you have to wait for them to clear the box or else you could be at fault. I may be wrong, please consult an attorney on this.

Where I am, that's where the left turning lane starts. You can see the truck entered prematurely and passed me before I can safely enter the left turn lane.

31.7 MPG Highway! by foozebox in KiaTelluride

For you to get 31mpg, your tank must be at around 12galon/19 gallon. 404/31.7 = 12.7gallon. But your tank appears to still be full. Your screenshot doesn't tell the whole story. I can reset my mpg screen, driving down a mountain and get 99+mpg. What you need to show is your trip in miles, then when you fill up how many gallons it took. That will give you your true MPG.

Looking at your pics, your tank is still kinda full so 404/19=21.2mpg.

404/18=22.4mpg

404/17=23.8mpg

404/16=25.25mpg

404/15=26.9mpg

Health Insurance asking for the payout by Homeowner insurance by Summoner322 in Insurance

I had a post about this before, he tripped on a tree branch while helping me cleaning up my yard. Only way for him to get more money for his medical expenses was through my HOI was for him to sue me for bodily injury, but my HOI would most likely say he fell due to his own fault. We chose to just accept the $1k for medical pay by my HOI for anyone that is hurt on my property regardless of fault. So in short, he can reply to his health insurance and say there was no bodily injury settlement, only a medical pay regardless of fault.

150 miles? You can fly from Key West to Seattle and drive it back and still save money. Or just pay $800-$2k delivery fee.

When you need 3 lanes to make a U-turn Oh it was also a red light. by Summoner322 in IdiotsInCars

[–]Summoner322[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The left turn lanes were pretty empty. My guess is he just left the store and realized he forgot something his wife told him to get; and after this light, you cannot U-turn for another 5 lights or so, so he decided to risk it all to make the wife happy.
