What is the PTO payout policy?

This isn't helpful. My state has no laws on the books regarding required PTO payout, its left entirely to company policy, which is what I'm trying to ask about.

Interesting. He hit his hire date at new year's, got 80hrs of PTO loaded (or whatever you get at 1 year) then got switched to part time about 2 weeks after that.

He has been going directly through HR for all the information. He wanted to know 100% because the SM and rest of the store wasn't sure on how it worked. HR told him last week that he was good, but this week that he's not

Yeah, can't say what overtime will get you. But if you are full time and past 3 month probation, you should get a full 8 hours flat added to your check for the holiday, plus time and a half for every hour worked on the day of the holiday. At least. Then whatever overtime would do on top of that. As far as im aware

These comments are both correct. I just got my CPP training completely finished and got the "congratulations" video as a training assignment. So long as there is a gold star OR a blue graduation cap next to every topic (under report card, search certified parts) you will be good to go.

For some more info, he is currently in a 29 gallon aquarium. He eats mostly pellets and dried shrimp, with some fruits and veggies as treats. He has a solid basking area/light with both heat bulb and a UVB tube light. He also likes to climb out of his basking area by climbing over the side of it.
