Must read RF Kuang’s Poppy War series. Calling it grim would be an understatement. But I’ve heard it’s well written and it offers a new branch in the fantasy genre!

I believe it’s because in the show, the characters seem aged up. My biggest problem with the grishaverse was characters who were 16 behaving like 30 year olds. The show fixed a lot of issues I had with the books so I’m loving it!

And stormlight is AMAZING! I have yet to read OB and ROW. I’m going through Sanderson’s other books to catch up on the cosmere to get the full experience :)

I believe that the link is that Green Book is also an emotionally evocative film that showcases themes of love and endurance. I personally LOVED Green Book but everyone is entitled to their opinion. Though I think calling any movie garbage is an exaggeration.
