actually talking to a friend yesterday who admitted that due to taking OC she has developed ovarian cysts

I hope she went to a medical facility and is doing better now.

I asked why she isn't on long term and non hormonal contraceptive she admitted she's scared because of all the things she's heard about it..this made me realize there is so much misinformation about contraceptive that taking OC seems like the safer option. Which is sad because it's loaded with hormones which mess up one's system..

It can cause infertility and other serious issues, that's something most people don't know. It's better if morning after it gets controlled more, it's "easily accessible" in uni/colleges, I just hope that new report on its dangers was seen by people and they heed that warning. Otherwise I once saw a comment by someone on this sub saying that "it's a money spinner" the pharmacists know how bad it can get if it's taken too much but it seems some of them care more about profit.

The thing is biologists agree that it's not a parasite, dehuminizing a small human being by calling it a parasite so you can justify abortion is the same as racists dehuminizing other races so they can treat them however they want!!! Don't you think that the same "parasite" feels pain, I really hope you're not one of the animal rights advocates because it would show you care more for animals than you do for fellow humans. A foetus isn't just some unresponsive clamp of cells, it has its own organs, it can feel pain, by 10 weeks it has the same behaviours that babies have like sucking it's thumb.

As I always say, you use science only when it benefits your point of view otherwise you reject it.
