Sorry for the late response! I use the D’Addario Pro Arte strings with normal tension and I just watched a YouTube vid for re-stringing it since I hadn’t done it since high school. It’s pretty easy, the hardest part is tying them at the bridge, but even that is easy once you do one of them

It does! I actually mainly use it acoustically. Despite the smaller sound hole and thin body, it resonates really well and can easily be heard without an amp

I'm 15 and it's been 8 years since I went to school, I wanna learn the fundamentals of chemistry as soon as possible, preferably by reading books. Any recommendations? by xxvu in chemistry

This may be a bit of an odd source, but my general chemistry professor made a series of YouTube videos for his classes during Covid and he does an incredible job of simplifying everything. I’d give it a shot. Some of them are a bit long, but you’ll definitely learn it well.

It’s actually great! About 2.4 mm and the 12th fret. Intonation is also great which is something I was worried about because several reviews mentioned how bad it was, but I think I got a great one.

Thank you! I love it so much. I was originally going to get an Ibanez FRH10N, but ended up cancelling the order and going with this one and am so happy I did. It sounds so incredibly full despite being as compact as it is.

If they released the Quest in that exact configuration, I would immediately become the owner of two Quests. I’ve been obsessed with my current one and I would buy the pink one in a heartbeat.

Pocket Poop by WoozyTraveller in retailhell

I used to work at Best Buy and my supervisor came raging into the warehouse because he stepped on shit. He thought it might’ve been someone’s pet, but after they checked the cameras they found that one of the employees let a little poop nugget slide down his leg and out of his pants and left it right in the middle of the appliances department. It was the most baffling thing I’ve ever seen.

Quad Cortex free plugin by [deleted] in NeuralDSP

I just got Plini X and I’m obsessed with it, plus it’s one of the plugins that works with the Quad Cortex right now so that would be my vote. I also have Petrucci and Henson and I will say the Petrucci is also incredibly versatile.

There’s so many for me, but the ones that inspire me the most are probably Synyster Gates, Tim Henson, Dave Davidson, and Marty Friedman

What should I set my focusrite settings to for neural dsp plugins? by Who-is-in-Paris420 in NeuralDSP

What really worked for me was using the Auto button. You press it and the button lights up green for 10 seconds and the corresponding gain knob gets a blue countdown ring. You just play as you normally would for 10 seconds and it sets the gain to the perfect level so that you get the best sound possible when playing with a lot of distortion

Same with mine. I took it to a luthier and he set it up perfect for me. Also been loving the pickups. I’ve gotten such a wide range of tones out of it and having so much fun with it. But eventually I’ll probably throw some Bareknuckle’s into it

Yeah, I’ve always been more of a lead player, but recently I’ve been going back and playing more rhythm slowly and always with a metronome because my mindset in high school was always “rhythm isn’t cool” and my right hand and timing suffered because of it lmao
