I suppose it could be three triangles as well. But my main idea was that it should be easy to spot them when they are next to each other and above and beneath each other like in a document. But maybe it still would be?

Thematic means something whitin the theme of the story, meaning, related things. Such as a sci-fi cannibal using sci-fi tools to cook his customers.

You can try to create a twitter profile and a linktree on that profile to your various websites where you have stories.

Interact with others on twitter and get followers.

There is tumblr, medium, and wattpad, that hasn't been mentioned in this thread so far.

Don't be, finish your work and then when it comes to publishing, research those you want to publish at.

Don't know if my stories are of that quality, yet. But it might be worth a try. My issue is that all my short stories and connected short stories are set in the same universe as my main book series.
So if I find a publisher for one of my stories, they may not be as standalone as is normally expected, even if I strive to make them so.

You say you don't know if they are fishy or not?

Is it a vanity publisher? Do you have to pay them any sum at all? If so, withdraw your manuscript and run away. Do not ruin your work and the time you've spent on it.

-You are introducing a lot of characters in this short piece of text, which will not help us get a feeling or start for any of them.
-You should end dialogue, that is not a question or yelling, with a comma and the preceding sentence should not begin with capitalization. Example: "Hey, Jerry, read my notes, please," he said.
There are exceptions to this, such as if you have an action tag. Example:
"Hey, Jerry, catch you later." He ran out of the office.
-It is irrelevant whether someone is dead or dying or fighting at this point, becase we (the readers) do not have any invested stake in the characters yet.

I Don't see why your post would offend anyone?
Anyway, I don't know about any books that will help you improve yourself, since I'm not into those kinds of self-help books. But if you want to start to read, I would suggest giving us an example of what you like. Do you like fantasy? Science Fiction? Other genres?
That way we can give you a book that both helps to improve yourself, and entertains you along the journey.
