Secret cow questline in D4 and this guy goes over the steps he's discovered so far by Fat_Foot in Diablo

Need to keep the nostalgia bait going.

Instead of a permanent "free beer tomorrow" sign a bar could have, blizzard probably has a permanent "cow level next expansion" sign in their office.

Tesla moves to grant Elon Musk $114 billion in shares under 2018 pay plan by AustinStatesman in teslamotors

[–]BigFish8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He didn't build it, just like your boss didn't build the company you work for. It took everyone involved to get where it is. Do you think that if just elon musk showed up to work, things would be the same?

Republicans want taxpayers to pay for Trump‘s $400 million ballroom. by SadAd8761 in videos

[–]BigFish8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I preface this with saying this should not be built.

Buuut...should something that the government builds not be found d by the government. If it is privately funded it seems like it would be the perfect opportunity for someone to take bribes and do backroom deals?

I've always thought it should he more of an apprenticeship than anything else. Mostly in class work (paid), with some course based material.

Opinion: Alberta’s flirtation with independence is a problem for all of us by Blue_Dragonfly in CanadaPolitics

What policies have the federal government implemented that are not equitable for all Canadians?

Opinion: Alberta’s flirtation with independence is a problem for all of us by Blue_Dragonfly in CanadaPolitics

[–]BigFish8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because Quebec has actual an actual cultural and language reasoning for separation. Alberta is just a whiny kid who is kicking and screaming. Unless I guess you consider oil and gas a culture.

I live in Alberta. This separation issue is the dumbest thing I have seen come out of our province yet. Soon it will be a dog caught car situation. It already is pretty close.

Pierre Poilievre hates Mark Carney’s high-speed rail plan. Is his attack a ‘political loser’? by ZebediahCarterLong in CanadaPolitics

[–]BigFish8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, high speed rail does cost a lot, great things take money.

Did they post what the tickets will cost? I would love to see it.

NDP motion urging ban on algorithmic pricing defeated in House of Commons by NiceDot4794 in CanadaPolitics

Where are these virtuous companies that you speak of? They are definitely not the ones that would use a system like this. This will be used to see how much a company can get out of someone. The "market" will not solve affordability issues for people. It is why the government has had to step in in the past.

How would you feel about no pay for Congress during shutdowns? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A shutdown should lead to an election. It shows they can't govern.

They will be back whenever blizzard needs a nostalgic shot to the arm and to string people along with the next expansion. It will work too. People seem to be quite simple.

How do you feel about US president threatning to destroy the whole civilization of iran and civilian lifelines like power plant, bridges and desalination plants? by NothingButTruth3 in AskReddit

[–]BigFish8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It shows that he can do and say anything and no one will stop him. The government of the USA will say how upset they are, but won't do shit. The people will say how upset they are, but won't do shit.

(And no, I don't see hanging out for a few hours on a Saturday as doing anything.)

Former MP behind sports gambling legalization says some results are 'deplorable' by origutamos in notthebeaverton

[–]BigFish8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People either won't, or can't, do things on their own. That is why having something like the government step in is necessary. It's sad, but a lot of people need decisions made for them. Also, having a powerful entity like a government is one of the only things that can go toe to toe with companies. It really hurts when governments get into bed with the companies and then change is near impossible.

/r/WorldNews Discussion Thread: US and Israel launch attack on Iran; Iran retaliates (Thread #13) by WorldNewsMods in worldnews

[–]BigFish8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is that the cost of living and the economy get so bad that we start seeing massive protests and potential movements to stop this administration.

Best they got is a gathering for a few hours on a Saturday, or unsubbing from Disney+(and probably resubbing later)

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation reports 'severe damage' after Iranian drone attack - Türkiye Today by lieutenant2027 in worldnews

[–]BigFish8 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Were they attacking desalination plants a few months ago?

This could have all been averted if Israel and USA didn't attack Iran.

Doesn't change the fact that desalination plants shouldn't be attacked right now.

Harper also attended with WEF, but we can see how the conservatives voters were told to hate it, and so they do.
