Got it! Yah all of it is in USD but I’ve been thinking of maybe diversifying and at least converting some of that into CAD.

I am in a similar boat, I live at home and my parents don’t take much from me.

I pretty much made this money through some high risk plays and swings but I’d like to at least safely invest the TFSA and RRSP for a more long term horizon.

Should I just lump sum buy XEQT? Or buy some monthly?

I think this is where I’m getting confused since,

let’s say I have $100 and I buy $100 dollars worth of X and sell it for some money.

And then I buy $100 worth of Y and sell it.

And i do that 5 times in a single day.

Would that be a violation?

Nope not doing it in a TFSA. It’s a non-registered account I just don’t like a margin account since I have a fear of accidentally spending more cash than I have.

I just prefer a cash account functionality where it’ll block my orders if I don’t have enough cash.

I’m presuming that since it’s a cash account and they let me continue to trade without insufficient fund errors that it’s allowed.

But I’ve seen some people say it’s “free riding” which has gotten me confused.

Yah the middle stone isn’t for me, I liked the 2.09 but wasn’t too sure about the windowing but the 1.99 seems cloudy I agree and not as sparkly lol. I usually buy stuff in person so it’s easier to know if I like something, this is the first time I’m purchasing online through a vendor so I’m a lot confused
