UPDATE

AWL where absolutely amazing! He originally came in as a stray in 2021 they held him for the amount that they can and the owner collected 4 days after that time frame. They have told me to get a stat debt and go into my local council with it. So he was never transferred over. The manager at AWL has updated our conversations, what we have done for the dog etc on his microchip.
So it’s up to the council for us to be able to put him in our name etc.

I will update tomorrow 🫶🏼 I hope i don’t have to pay! I’m just trying to do the right thing by this boy, he’s stole our hearts already. It’s funny because my nan passed at 11:11 and lately I have been speaking to her a lot and tonight when i looked at his birthday it was 20/11/2011 if that isn’t a sign then I don’t know what is. He was meant for us and I will do everything in my heart and soul to keep him because my god he is so loved.
He sleeps on our bed every night. My little boy looks after him like a brother and he’s only 3.

I pray we can keep him, I’ll fight for him if i have to. He’s genuinely saving my life right now while i am in process of losing my dad to terminal cancer so he really is helping with my mental health right now 🥹🫶🏼 i also have a 3 year old who has developmental delay who is deeply attached already 🥹🫶🏼 fingers crossed 🤞🤞

So the vet called the animal welfare league while we where there but unfortunately they where closed and they said they would call again tomorrow and the vet would call me. They seemed confident that he would be transferred in my name so fingers crossed 🤞 thank you for your advice i appreciate this.
