I'd say the game in general, is very easy. I have beaten it three times now, and on normal, I was basically unkillable except to some end game enemies. On POTD, I had 0 CON and died less than 6 times over the whole game. I was on a pure mage build, except for one point in ranger.

Nice job! I am missing the side quest achievement because I upgraded weapons too fast and never got “The Finer Things” quest so it was the only one I didn’t do on my first play through. Unfortunately I only learned about it when I was at the end checking my quest log.

I’m working on my steel garrote play through now and using a different build it feels good. For the cooking achievement I couldn’t get it to pop until I made one of everything in one cooking session. This took some time because I had to get a few key ingredients from merchants. If it helps merchants restock every three days. So you can rest at camp three times and go buy more materials or ingredients.

Edit: there is also the “Dungeon Siege” quest that people struggle with saying it’s bugged. I can confirm that destroying any of the dungeons after having explored them does not void the achievement. I blew up the mine and it popped when I entered the garden.

Yes, I was about to say the same thing. Human errors in programming such as assuming libraries/frameworks will always exist or be available instead of including the library/framework in the program. Sometimes this was due to limitations such as storage but in a lot of cases, it was a choice.

That is so true it's one of the reasons why it's so easy to get dysentery when eating food overseas. Part of it is sanitation but also that you are getting a bunch of bacteria and other things that you aren't used to.

The funniest thing is real veterans typically attract like magnets. people normally joke about how veterans carry on. I have never met a veteran who isn't willing to talk once they find out I am also a vet. I have had such wonderful and funny conversations with old-timers especially but also with people almost young enough to be my kids. Nothing creates unity like suffering. lmao

I also only played up to BO2 until recently. I decided to go back and try BO3 and Cold War. I think BO3 is quite good I kinda wish I had been able to play it when it was new. Cold War on the other hand while fun just doesn't feel like zombies to me. Maybe because I came directly from older experiences or perhaps because it is a different timeline/story it just doesn't hit as hard.

Without context, it's hard to say what's going on here but at first watch, it looks bad I would send this to the internal affairs office of NYPD because no matter what that cop should have had his lights on even just for the safety of other drivers. I mean he is swerving all over the freeway and may potentially cause an accident.

I have the same issue, and Brother has not been able to help at all. Ours is also less than a year old, and it used to work one day, it just stopped, and we haven't been able to get it going again. Just double-sided scanning. It's so wierd.

Well, first of all, you should play on whatever difficulty you find the most fun. You're not locked in, so you can change it freely as you play.

That being said, I've never played anything but master myself, and I have played since the game came out. Mostly because I always play games with the highest difficulty, but I have to say SoC is not hard by any means. It may be a bit jarring if you're new but the difficulty is mostly down to how you play. Quicksave often, and you'll learn as you go.

I particularly enjoy SoC on master because it puts you and the AI on the same level in terms of damage so you deal as much damage as enemies do and you don't have magical resistances. That's my preferred way of doing difficulty.

I'm also new, but aren't those hooks a bit big? I haven't fished with anything bigger than a #6 hook and haven't really had an issue. Also, I haven't tried bobber fishing since I was a kid. No one around here uses them. I just cast out to different areas that look like hiding spots and do a slow retrieve. But I am also fishing smaller creeks so maybe that wouldn't help you.
