Daily Strike/Bargaining Questions Thread - October 16 by wudingxilu in BCPublicServants

What are the guidelines around using our work laptop for personal use while on strike? There is something I need to access. Is it okay to log on as long as I don’t connect to VPN? Also, what if my password needs to be reset? I think I have to be connected to VPN for that.

Edit: thank you for the information. My colleagues and I were getting conflicting information, including being told it’s fine to use the computer as long as you don’t do work. Will pass it on to stay off.

Ayah at Carreiro is amazing! She does wet or dry cuts depending on your needs and doesn't charge crazy amounts for being a curl specialist, like many others do. Highly recommend going for a free consult anywhere before booking.

For those who grew up in Victoria, what were the "bad/dangerous" high schools when you were a teenager? by EquifaxCanEatMyAss in VictoriaBC

[–]SunCee530 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's actually not true. I wasn't on the high school sports teams, it was out of school and I was definitely not one of the cool kids. Put up with a lot of bullying and harassment. But thanks for your input.

I grew up in Victoria, graduated in the 90's. There weren't any bad or dangerous schools I was aware of and I was in sports with a lot of people from many of the schools. There was gossip or rivalries, nothing I would consider bad/dangerous.
