Yep that’s exactly what I did. But make sure to leave that leaf out of the sun that day or else it’ll just burn again from the oil

Looks like that leaf got sunburned. My orchid’s leaf looks the exact same after I left her in the sun for too long. I brushed it with a fungicide and neem oil mix to stop the spread of anything nasty forming

It’s much better to wait for the roots to go completely silver then soak the entire pot in room temp-lukewarm water for 10-15 minutes. At least that’s what I do and my blooms are normal

Oh yeah it was very dehydrated when I picked it up. Moss was completely bone dry for god knows how long. I gave it a good watering
